I finally tried my Chef's one shot. The lemon coconut cake cream one. It's really good. Nicely balanced and no horrible notes. It could probably stand to steep a little it's s a smidge cake batter-y but it's really good.
Man, Chef's one shots are the DIY equivalent of the CLR coil. They're so easy to use... and reuse. I love their stuff for lazy days..

Instantly made a 100ml of this.. and reaaallly thinking about switching to mixing by weight.. holy cow.. sucking up 27ml of VG was a workout, even with 14g needle. Or maybe I want insane dexterity?I guess there is no more appropriate day to try this Mother's Milk recipe test bottle than Mothers Day. 5 days of steeping, might be a bit early

A couple suggestions: Remove the plunger part of your syringe and the blunt needle tip...cover the bottom hole with your finger...pour/squirt in the VG to measure it...hold over the eliquid bottle and remove your finger.
Or...don't try to use the plunger to physically "pull up" the VG. Poke the blunt needle tip into the VG, pull the plunger maybe 1/2 way up and just wait a few seconds for the VG to rise up in the syringe to the bottom of the plunger. Then pull it up the rest of the way and wait for it to do the same thing.
OR...I could do some more searching to find those 10mL graduated cylinders I know I definitely have and send you one.

Speaking of Aurora, just to add another perspective, I personally don't get any effervescence from it myself. In fact, to my tastes, it reminds me of a lemon lime mix with maybe a touch of Champagne added to it. Some folks used to suggest adding Champagne to beverage mixes to give it some bubbly texture but I never got that from it then either.
PJ's description is probably more appropriate for most but there may be some out there with weird taste buds like mine so I thought I'd chime in, lol.

Hmm, that didn't sound right did it ...
Just to be clear, I don't use Aurora for fizz but do feel that it adds some mild carbonation after a 5-10 day steep. For the best perception of effervescence, I turn to FW Pink Champagne and RF Soda Base. It really isn't possible to get true carbonation in an e-juice but something that hits the sour receptors on the taste buds just right can give that perception. I LOVE Aurora for its many magical properties. I don't get any lemon from it - straight up lime zest for me.

I know for certain that I have strange taste buds and use antiquated hardware — however I do get something from Aurora whether it is carbonation, fizz, effervescence or combination for a new feel. It is definitely magical for me too and so happy that you introduced it to me.
My initial thoughts on Zing subject to change — YMMV.
I steeped this for seven days as recommended by the developer of this recipe. Since I just started vaping Zing, my thoughts can change
I was surprised that I could taste FW Butterscotch Ripple @ 3% as I generally find FW flavors to be more on the weak side. For my taste I feel it may be slightly out of place in this particular recipe although it does provide some slight butterscotch sweetness. Butterscotch with Lemon not so sure of the taste combination though.
I am not getting the coated mouth feel from FA Premium Custard like I do with Custard - The Quickening so a big plus for me. BTW I still have some of the Quickening so I am letting it steep longer to see if this changes.
If I could only have one lemon custard-esque juice, Lemondowskii wins for my taste. Don’t get me wrong because Zing is good and like I said this may change after I have been vaping it for a while or even with a longer steep but for now Lemondowskii.
