ug...do I really?!?!
So I found a heck of a deal but do I really want to spend $50 on a label maker?
so staples has the Brother QL-800 on sale for $59.99 with free shipping, and one of my coupon thingies took another $10 off.....
I was looking on ebay at the QL-700 and found one used for $30
I really like these instead of the little label makers, this way I can have all the info on there
as far as I can tell the only difference between the two is that the 800 can also print in red not just black...is that really worth $20 more? And do I really need it? hahaha I was looking at the one fran posted and a few others but even those were $20, so I mean $10 more I can have nice labels

I got a Brothers for $23 I didn’t need any fancy tricks to make just plain old stickers.

I got a couple of mixes done yesterday and a couple more this morning.

It’s sooo easy when you don’t need to take everything out of the closet then back into it again.

Now I just sit at the table and everything I need is right there.

I am a label nerd. :D I design them on Avery.com (free to use) and print them out on my home printer. The labels stick to PET bottles well but the extra protection of tape is a good idea. I do that on most bottles. Unfortunately, I didn't have tape on the 60ml bottles I was filling yesterday when I knocked one over and spilled half a bottle of juice all over the 4 labeled bottles.

do you use regular printer paper or is there special like label paper? This is what I'd rather do, I need a new printer anyways lol, I could have a lot more fun designing labels myself....

I have always had terrible handwriting and nowadays it is made worse by my clumsy hands, so a label maker is tempting. But I'm finding it very hard to justify buying yet another gizmo, especially one that requires proprietary refill tapes. I'll probably just keep on scrawling semilegibly on masking tape or stick-on labels and slapping clear tape over them to prevent smearing.

I use labels - any one that is the same size as Avery 5160. MACO Laser and Inkjet labels are very well priced on Amazon. There are also labels that are made to be easily removed if people want to reuse the bottles.

I've always had bad handwriting and after my first stroke as a teen I basically had to learn to write again I mean I could write but it was completely illegible....lol it still is and with my dyslexia if I write too fast it's all gibberish...even when typing i'm sure you've noticed a few times I mix my letters around, for some reason it's not as bad when I type as apposed to when I'm writing...

A couple of quick impressions on recipes I tried recently.

Pear Frulata

This is a pear, ice cream based smoothie. It is really quite lovely after a week-long steep. I am not usually a fan of ice cream based vapes but this one is very good, even to me. I might add a touch of coolant but that would be the only change. If you like pear flavors, I recommend you try this. It is a well-balanced recipe. Oh, I did sub FLV Greek Yogurt for the FW and find it perfect!

Reset is super refreshing and I love the Aurora and the Shisha Lime. Kiwi is not a favorite of mine so I probably won't make this again but if you like Kiwi, this is a very good and refreshing summer vape. I think I would like it as just lime, so I might try layering in some other lime flavors. It is good.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been meaning to make the pear. Sounds good.
