A couple of quick impressions on recipes I tried recently.

    Pear Frulata

This is a pear, ice cream based smoothie. It is really quite lovely after a week-long steep. I am not usually a fan of ice cream based vapes but this one is very good, even to me. I might add a touch of coolant but that would be the only change. If you like pear flavors, I recommend you try this. It is a well-balanced recipe. Oh, I did sub FLV Greek Yogurt for the FW and find it perfect!

Reset is super refreshing and I love the Aurora and the Shisha Lime. Kiwi is not a favorite of mine so I probably won't make this again but if you like Kiwi, this is a very good and refreshing summer vape. I think I would like it as just lime, so I might try layering in some other lime flavors. It is good.

I just looked and don’t have fa pear. I have tfa. Do you think I could sub that or increase the molinberry?

Where are you buying molinberry flavors? I got the chocolate from gremlin.

I for some reason I didn’t have the molinberry pear on my flavor stash list. That makes three I’ve found so far that I left off my list.

I don't have any experience with TFA Pear but the buzz isn't great on that flavor. I would probably increase the MB. It really is the best pear!

I only have 2 and they must have come from Chef's. Never ordered from Gremlin.

IMO TFA Pear has great Pear flavor but it's just too sweet for me.

Awesome! Like you, I saw this and had to mix it (once I got the flavors LOL). My Frulata will be 7 days old tomorrow. I have a clean setup just waiting for it. I used the FLV-Greek Yogurt too so even better. I thought about making Reset, but did the Zing-remix instead. First taste of that is good too :)

I will be very happy when I finally mix something that I really like. The fact is in the year and a bit I've been vaping, I have yet to find something that truly suits me. This goes for commercial juices and those I've made. Oh, now and then, I get a mouthful of vapor that tastes good to me, but mostly I'm unimpressed. I get hints of what could be, but that's about it. Maybe it's my tastebuds, but they're quite good when it comes to food, so I know they work. Oh well. I live in hope.

You'll fine what you like. Sometimes it can take awhile. What kind of flavors are you looking for in a mix?

It's called princess tastebuds ;) and I have them too. It was fine for the first 3 months after I quit smoking - I loved every juice I tried (except pineapple).

Once my taste buds started to come back however - I ended up so fussy with what I liked to vape. Everything tasted 'wrong' except 1 or 2 mint ice cream juices. So I just vaped them for a year ;)

I'm getting better now though - love berries, citrus along with mints.

You'll find your favourites too, just keep trying new mixes out until you do

At this point, I don't even know. I've tried mixing flavors I like in real life--citrus and berries--and nothing has hit the spot, though I seem to taste orange the best. Bill D. Lemonade reminds me of watered-down lemonade made with ReaLemon (in other words, not great). Berry Berry Good in no way lived up to its name. I can barely tell that Dinner Lady Lemon Tart is supposed to be lemon. I recently got some Castle Long, because it gets such praise and the flavor profile sounded good, and it doesn't taste much different from the blend of Halo Tribeca and Devon that I used to vape in my early days and found merely okay. Mostly, everything feels very dry to me and tastes kind of bland and ashen.

I've begun to wonder whether the problem is that my tastebuds are too sensitive and are getting overwhelmed. I may try scaling back the flavor percentages to see if that makes a difference.

Definitely try knocking the flavour percentage down - if the mixes are tasting bland/faint it could be muting causing it.

I'd also try a really simple 2 or 3 ingredient mix - purely to see if you can taste the flavours in it. Maybe just a berry and a cream.

well I needed a new printer anyways...ug... I have 2 printers, I had 4 but I gave 2 away.... my ex always had to buy the latest and greatest, of course using my money.... and both printers are not working, go figure, they make really great bulky scanners

so this was a good excuse and a good deal
got an Epson Expression Home XP-340 on sale for $39.99 with shipping it was going to be about $48, so if I spend $50 it was free shipping
so threw on a package of label paper oh wait there's more  if your sub total is over $50 you get $10 so threw on a different package of label paper and a freaking pen because needed $1.50 more  which all came to $60.12 then the $10 off and well I now have a new printer, over 2,000 labels and a pen  for $53.63 all for cheaper than the actual price of the printer :thumb:
staples is really having some good sales right now for father's day
