I bought a large bottle of Holy Grail RY4 during their blowout. Can I store it in the refrigerator?
I can't speak to DIYFS flavor concentrates specifically; but, in general, fridge temps are considered okay... just not the freezer. Freezer temps can cause separation and crystallization all too often.

If (after being in the fridge) you notice any formations (crystals, hazing, solidification), allow the bottle to return fully to room temp, and shake/mix thoroughly. It should(?) return to its original state. In extremely stubborn circumstances; gentle warming (bathtub/hot tub temps) can help facilitate the process.
:)

I’ve been planning on mixing a creamy hazelnut w a dash of chocolate. I’m trying to “replicate” a commercial juice a Creamy Nuts? or something like that from Red Star store. They sent me several 10ml testers and I fell in love with this particular one. The description says cream hazelnut and chocolate. Honestly I don’t taste any chocolate so it could be supporting the other flavors.
is it like a nutella type?
don't know what the original manufactures on the flavorings were but I have a recipe if you want to try
Hazelnut 8%
Sweet Cream 6%
Chocolate 6%
Marshmallow 1%

My MB pear and glamour chocolate came. Any thoughts on sft %s? Pear I’m not so concerned about, but the chocolate I need to do. Hopefully this is the winner. If not, y’all can have all my chocolates. I’m about ready to give up on them
    I think @hittman did a sft @6% & he liked it.

I did do a sft at 6% and liked it really well. I know Fran wasn't that impressed with it but I liked it. I felt like it was a realistic chocolate flavor with a bit of a cocoa flavor to it. It also left a little bit of taste afterwards in my mouth. I thought it was a winner.

I really don't want to dye my hair red again, but I am considering it like REALLY. I look great with red/burgundy hair, it matches my skin tone.

More importantly red deposits on your shaft, leading to thicker strands of hair, easier manageability etc. I might just have to. I don't WANT to but if someone can't help me fix it I may have to. I have everything I need including the dye in a box from under the kitchen sink.

    Anna, STOP... One word: HENNA!

I adore red hair; I was born with it, but it fell out, turned blonde, then developed into this mousy brown over the years (I have green eyes). I had been using red hair dye for years, until I saw a photo of me... I looked like Roseann Rosanna Danna (SNL referrence)!

My hair was fried from all the hair color chemicals and red dye is the fastest fading color of them all, so I had to refresh my ends every time. My hair is thin, curly, and reacts instantly to the slightest bit of humidity... Let's just say, I call 'her' Medusa. I can't even use regular shampoo (or any silicones) without looking like a psycho escaped from an asylum.

Henna is permanent, non-toxic, chemical-free, and natural. You only want pure henna powder (body art quality is best for ease of rinsing) without ANY additives (I mix mine with herbal tea, but plain water is fine). Any henna claiming a range of color choices has other stuff in it that you don't want.

Henna will only deposit red color, it will not lift color (lighten). The longer you leave it on, the richer the color. You can fall asleep in it and be perfectly fine! It bonds to the keratin in your hair, so it actually makes your hair better. There are various henna powders that all have a different dye content, so you can choose to be more copper-like or deep cherry red and it barely fades at all.

My hair has some gray and henna does cover it. For me, it makes my grays look like red highlights.

Eh-hem... To make things relevant, I shook, breathed/burped, and smelled my mixes today... Oh, momma, they smell divine!

Enabler... :pervy: I haven't even received my HHG Vanilla yet.

How is the tobacco note on that? Similar to anything? I need to mix what I have on hand, so only ordered the vanilla, but I'm a sucker for an RY4.

I find it to be light on the tobacco and heavy on the caramel — YMMV. Nothing that I have had — this is not to say there isn’t one.

Mix "cardinal by Fear", dbl the tobacco and add 5% PUR butter pecan or as a friend said add 8% tfa pistachio. There both good

Thanks for the inspirations. I tried this about a year ago and at the time the tob was over the top for me. I remixed it several times adjusting the two FLVs concentrates and never quite got it to my liking. I am going to try it again though as my taste could have changed. I do have FW Butter Pecan and may try it with this first. I have on my shopping list for ever WF Roasted Pecans & Cream. Depending how FW goes I may end up finally buying this or alternatively I also have TFA Pistachio so this is always a good one to use.

After several attempts at remixing Gallagher’s Ice Pop, I have hit on one that works for my taste. The changes I made: used 4% FLV Watermelon instead of 5% MB Big Watermelon, replaced CAP Super Sweet with 1% FA Marshmallow and eliminated WS-23. I may try adding WS-23 back in however for now I am OK without it.
