My father in law(85) finally went and got hearing aids a few years ago. I think he had bad hearing for a long time as he always talked really loud. Sometimes he turns the volume down on them when he doesn't want to hear my mother in law.
That’s on my list to make next. Is it eggy, vanillay... or just custardy yumminess???I just loaded my zlide with a new coil and am trying the 5 star custard. Yum!
Been there, did that. I really wish they would have also tested for sensitivity to the products they sell. The follow up(after the purchase)leaves a lot to be desired. Did you know that over 50% of the people who purchase hearing aids end up not being able to use them for various different reasons? Wish i had known those odds before, not after, i went through all the stuff. And they had no other options of material to offer those with a sensitivity. Hope this isnt taken in the wrong fashion as my only intent is to school those who may in the future be where i am at.My daughter is going to graduate in 2 years to be a Dr. of Audiology. You have to be tested, fitted & a hearing aid would be custom adjusted & fine tuned for your hearing needs. It’s not a simple go to a hearing aid dispenser & put on & it will work.

Well, I'm just as careful with my hearing as I can be. I stay away from loud noises as much as possible, don't get water in my ears, etc, etc. My hearing could be a whole lot worse than it is.
It was a sawmill that did me in. Can't hear yourself think.I'm surprised that my hearing isn't worse than it is with all the years I've spent around loud equipment.
One of the iffy mixes I brought home is a custard mix. I expect it to be too sweet but I had to try it.I didn't use much yet but my first reaction was Wow! I purposely put it in the zlide instead of a dtl rta thinking that the sweetness might be overwhelming. It was just a rich custard that really grabbed my attention.
The best one I tried yesterday was the WF lemonade. It's a keeper for sure.
Thank you so VERY much! That is probably the only lemonade I don't own. How is it different from others and how strong is it vs. say, Flavorah?
Mine has just been a gradual loss over time. When i was young my dad used to tell me i could hear the grass grow. Lol. That was usually after he said something he didnt think i should hear. Lol. If i am face to face I usually have no problems hearing the other person. But if they are turned or have their back to me, i can tell that they are talking just cant make out all of the words.Well, I'm just as careful with my hearing as I can be. Yes, I have the same problem often with making out all the words. I was so happy when I called one of my cc co.'s last week and got a guy who spoke English and very clearly. I had no problem whatsoever hearing him. Not usually the case with phone calls. I had to call my Ins Co. this morning and the woman I got on the phone was one of those speed talkers. After telling her to slow down a half dozen times I finally got through the dang phone call.Mine has just been a gradual loss over time.
