Shortly after I first started vaping, I discovered them. I was going threw 5 bottles of grand master per month, and at $27.00 a bottle, it was what prompted me to start DIY.

The price is what kept me from buying.

Spitting and popping is often due to not enough wick, but at 60 watts and 0.2 Ω, I think it's just a boiling pot!

I agree but I have seen lots of folks on here doing even higher watts and I watched videos on the dripbox and none of them mention anything about spitting and getting really hot so I am just curious how people can stand the high watts.

I can't begin to imagine breaking in a new coil at 60w

Not sure if it would make any / much difference, but is the air intake wide open? More air might help...

Me, well, I don't go there. 1.5 Ω at 8.5 watts works for me ;)

I don't usually go there, either. I did not pay attention to the fact it was non adjustable 60w. I just saw 3.7v and thought it was good. I don't understand how it can be both but that is just me, I guess. Guess I will try to sell them. I still don't see how people vape 100w or more.
