My gremlin order was supposed to be here today but it’s still three states away. I should have expected it with the Xmas rush.
Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow. They haven’t updated a location since it left Seattle Wednesday morning.

Holla mixologists, my week was nuts in so many ways. Too many to list. I did fix a couple of juices, somehow, but it's all been kind of a blur.

The husband gets here Monday. Oy. Notes and cleaning this weekend. Yay. I have my like, performance review on Monday I am not looking forward to it. My work does this weird thing regarding sending out like SURVEYS on your coworkers and how you think they "are." I have never encountered this before, but I think they do it to lower salary increases, personally. I say that because they are supposedly "random" but I got one from Dr. Evil. I wrote on the survey: "I am sorry, given our history I do not feel comfortable rating Dr. Evil, nor would it be fair."

So I'm sure he got one. I'm pretty sure he will be filling it out. I am the kind of person people hold very strong opinions about. I can't help it. I am who I am.

If I get grief for my time management skills however, I am going to ask my supervisor when it happened, and point out my 3 days of memory loss and the fact my docs are STILL evaluating my brain. I am going to tell her I have up to 4 years to sue the provider and the company, and then thank her for the evaluation that only will support my lawsuit, and sign it,

To be fair, I do think that whole thing F'd me over in so many ways.

Oh well, of late, all the support staff are liking me so meh. We had fun. I gave the secretaries silly string and they went nuts .I told them I was very sad they didn't silly string me. They were like: "We can't!" I was like, "Why not? I GAVE it to you." LOL the smart secretary (we are called providers) was like,, "But you.... provided it." I was like, "Right, I GAVE it to you to use. I mean, I'm not going to stand here waiting but I think you can manage."

LOL much silly string later, I told them they all needed to join the military.

I hate performance reviews, A.K.A. passive-aggressive revenge. Destroy unit cohesiveness much, like we need any help with that in the 'modern' workplace. Oh well, it is what it is. I was told in my last job to "fit in here, or you won't last long". Then they paired me with the guy who got the last new guy fired. Needless to say, 'the game' is alive and well today in our so called 'modern' social working atmosphere. Glad I work for myself now. Boss is a jerk, but at least I understand what he wants. lol

I think I've got you beat. I was told in a performance review that I needed to be more DISorganized. o_O Needless to say, that job didn't last long after that.

I work for a small company ( 13) employees. We don’t get performance reviews. Never have in 22 years. Raises were good the first ten years but at a certain point you hit the top of the pay scale and now raises are few and far between. Luckily part of my pay is commission so I can make a little more by working harder.

I work for a company with 22,000 employees, my department has 12 employees. We have annual performance reviews that we have to do ourselves. Our bosses just copy what we say. They don’t care as they give everybody the same raise across the board although it is supposed to be a merit system. I was leader of a huge project this year. Lots of extra work, I worked lots of unpaid overtime, 12 hour days at home on my weekends, lots of work. The bigger bosses up the chain had extra money so they gave me some of it for my hard work on top of our regular small raise. The extra amounts to $49 more.......PER YEAR. Gee thanks. Benefits are great, and I’ll have my 25 years for retirement in this September. Not so bad. :)

RJ, that does suck you had to put in all that unpaid time but in the end it was probably worth it even though the extra money wasn’t much. There’s usually a feeling of satisfaction when doing a good job. Are you planning on retirement soon?

I was consumed by this project and I met all deadlines and learned a lot so I am very happy with myself. I get a lot of personal satisfaction from that. I don’t plan on retiring yet. I have some financial goals to reach first so I’ll be working a few more years. I’m only 53 so a little young to retire. But I won’t be able to stop grinning come this September. :D Every year I stay past 25 I’ll give myself a 4% raise in retirement which is much more than I get annually now. I’m so excited. :w00t: 9 months. It’ll go by quickly.

Good morning, random folks. Not feeling great but a bit better I think. Got my Gremlin order. Haven’t opened it yet.
Hope you feel 100% soon. I got my order yesterday and already have another cart started. I can’t resist the sale for the cheap 30 mls. I’ve never vaped mint but they have the peppermint on sale so I’m gonna try it.

I'd rather get nothing and assume they overlooked it rather than give me $49 and insult my intelligence.
