My gremlin order got bumped to Monday. I realized when I was cleaning out my emails, I had a Chef’s order that shipped 12/2. Its never taken this long. Of course, cheaped out and didn’t get tracking.
I mixed an impromptu eggnog today.... FLV & FW eggnog, vta brandy and a little madagascar vanilla (vanilla bourbon is in the awol gremlin order). As a snv test, I get a hint of nutmeg and maybe clove????, and the rest is light. I’ll let it settle out, maybe drop the % of the FW next go. I think that’s where the spice is coming from. Not getting “brandy” out of it either
I have the gremlin sale eggnog in my cart. It interests me.

Good morning mixers. My stixx mix samples are ready. I’m trying the butter rum cavendish first. It’s pretty good. It’s not as sweet as I thought it would be. It’s got a little bit of a bite to it. I could see adding some butterscotch ripple to it at a low percentage or maybe some caramel butter.

Two questions about elr. First, didn’t you all say that if I input all my flavors the program would suggest recipes using those flavors? Second, is there something I click to make myself private on there? I’m going to spend some time over my break to get everything setup in the program. Having all these flavors and not knowing what I’ve got is driving me nuts. It’s overwhelming and I end up making the same tried and true recipes over and over.

I have zero juice, except for what is in two tanks. Typical for me though. That’s why I’m not a steeper. One day I’ll have time to make ahead. What recipe shall I make? Hmmmmm... I should try some of papaws nets. Maybe a strawberry cheesecake someone posted not long ago.

The cheesecake will need to steep. Most fruit recipes are snv. One of my favorite snv is pomegranate and pudding base. Two flavors simple and good snv and better with time.

Shake and vape. Many recipes need some sort of steep but some can be used right away. I guess it depends on personal preference and how high of flavor percentage you use.
Yeah thanks I just googled. I’ll learn the terminology eventually. I never steep. All my recipes are snv. I’m a busy woman. Although I enjoyed putting my bottle in a warm water bath my last mixing session. It seemed to speed up steeping somewhat. And my taste buds are incompetent little buggers. Maybe it was the 30 years of smoking. Guess I better go make something before I completely run out.

I just got my chefs order, took 3 weeks this time. I was just about ready to reorder those three little bottles when it appeared. I’m too cheap to pay extra for tracking on such a small order.

    Morning, mixers. :)

Good to hear that all are on the mend, if not fully back!

Uh, yeah? Running out is NOT an option unless you're the FuDA!!

In general, fruits and candies are snv, tobaccos, creams and such benefit from some time in the bottle. So mix a mess of the first AND some of the second, so you have snv for now, and steeped mixes down the road.

    Oh, and

I’m on the other extreme. I have more mixed than I’ll probably use before it’s bad. I’m the worst about mixing sft and then never going back and trying them. I got on a kick where I’d mix 60ml of several recipes knowing full and well that I’m constantly changing flavors. I had to throw out some that went bad. Now I just mix 10ml to start and if it’s something I really love then I’ll do a 30ml bottle of it.

Getting down to the last drop is just the way it is for me. No need to worry...it's my normal.

So I just had a massive mixing session. I made 200 ml each of Strawberry Biscuit, Bronuts with a splash of bavarian cream (the bav cream is new to this recipe for me), and Killer Kustard with a splash of chocolate (chocolate is new to this recipe for me, just trying different things), and @PapawBrett 's Golden Cavendish with just a touch of chocolate. I'm in a chocolate mood I guess. I'll get around to testing Papaw's juices singularly one day. I then transferred each to a 100 ml working bottle. I made 50 ml of Papaw's.

I also ran out of my nic base. So instead of pulling some out of the freezer, I decided to mix up some of the rank nic I got from Nic River that oxidized during shipment (or something) at 50/50% with vg. Thought I'd give it a try. I figured if it's vapeable I'll use it first. I just have it in the fridge...no more room in the freezer.

I feel so much better! This should last me a little over a month. Yeah I vape a LOT like 20 ml a day.

I love having all my mixing supplies in my vape cabinet in the basement. I do not love making several trips up and down to pull it all together. I desperately need to get some nail polish cases and organize this hoard.
