I’ve never tried sushi. It just grosses me out. I do like many types of fish and seafood. The best I ever had was when I was in Saudi Arabia during the gulf war. We were on leave and got taken to a restaurant that had the freshest seafood I’ve ever had.

It just doesn’t seem like Xmas here with it being near 60 for the past few days. It’s supposed to be 50 tomorrow. It’s usually much colder and bad weather here in December. I’m not complaining.

Same here, never tried sushi. If I don’t like cooked seafood, I definitely won’t like raw. My windows are open as it’s going up to 68 today and 70! tomorrow. I don’t like cold weather so this warm winter has been great. I’ve saved a lot on my electric bill since my heating has been pretty much off. I love it. Spring is right around the corner.

It's been warm here, too. Almost 50 yesterday. Gave me an opportunity to chip the ice off the driveway, but the yard is still a skating rink! Hopefully more will melt over the next week.

I’m still waiting for the mailman to show up. I’ve also got an amazon package out for delivery. It’s a small present for my BiL.

Fran, I’ve been trying the strawberry croissant. The croissant seems to overpower the strawberry. I doubt I’ll mix that one again.

Haven’t tried mine lately. Maybe a tad less croissant.?

Update on FLV Fried Dough. It's STRONG. Needs to be used like Joy, in very small amounts. It's similar, but with an edge of cooked dough. I think it will work well for what it is.

I used it with TFA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie so far. Might add some apple or pear, and perhaps FLV Lembas Bread when it arrives. It's definitely not a stand-alone.

Edited to add: Like Joy, I think it needs a good steep to settle down.

I'm trying to get my neighbor off the dime and get going on DIY. He's agreed to do it awhile back. Getting him to stock up is another story. Friday I will be mixing him 11 tobacco samples from that bottled swill I have. I sampled his juice and it falls in line with that stuff. When he began vaping he tried a handful of juices. All tobacco. Gave each one a few puffs and picked one of them. He's vaped that same juice ever since (2014) and nothing else. Shouldn't be too hard to find something he likes.

Oh, he pays $32 for a 60ml bottle of his stuff. A 60ml bottle of DIY is $1.75. He likes that.

I mixed two bottles of the galaxy cheesecake. One to try now and one to steep. I didn’t realize it’s a one shot. Not bad at all snv. I get a little cheesecake, a slightly sour berry flavor, and what I think is almond.

Brother finally brought their gifts to Mom. I wrapped a total of 82 gifts between my gifts and Mom’s gifts this Christmas. But it’s done. Mom says this is the last year but we’ll see as she says it every year. I also vacuumed Mom’s main areas and cleaned up. For all my help she is giving me an amazon gift card! I’m pooped. I either need a nap, or I need to do something totally different than Christmas like go through paperwork. Or watch a movie. Nap sounds good.

Hmm. That sounds good. I love mint but it needs to be soft. Too strong, and it makes me sneeze.

You ever had those mints (little cube looking ones) at the checkout counter in a restaurant? Thats dead on buttermint

I have the butter mint but honestly don’t remember trying it. I got on a purilum kick a while back and bought a bunch of their flavors.
