Good Morning mixers. Woke up, checked the weather, saw the cool down coming to the Carolinas.
Highs in the 40's and low 50's through Thursday (supposedly). Order placed with P&C, three day business should have it here by Wednesday.
No Decatur Black Cherry or Cornell & Deihl Autumn Evening this time around as they were backordered.
Trying four new (to me) tobaccos this time around, never hurts to expand the horizon.
A Burley, an Oriental, a different Cherry and a Peach.
Unlike Bronze, I don't mix mine. Either I like them or I don't.

Hi All:

Informational post. Gosh, I have been busy/tired.

So, performance review went more or less ... I hoped. It wasn't GOOD (IMHO) but it wasn't BAD either. It was just sort of middle of the road, I argued my way out of a few things, etc.. I doubt it will get me that much of a raise but I'm not so much caring about that, because I'm not getting fired.

It looks like they are going to have to get us a new house. We will still lose thousands in value per our evaluator (who is separate from State Fam) due to all the improvements, which the guy as like amazed he kept saying "You made this? You did this? This is the best custom work I have ever seen in a home like this." Like, he went on and on about it.

If they redo it they will pretty much have to stick build it. I want them to haul it off and sell a nice, normal, boring new home to like, some elderly people. Frankly.> So it looks like that is gonna happen.

I hope. I just want to forget that house ever existed.

I woke with a giant goose egg on my head, it was not there when I went to bed. I wonder if I am sleep walking. It happens.

So no yoga this am,. I got me a free HOUR. OMG this week was again so busy. Oh well job security I suppose....

Good morning, mixers. Stay warm. It is so weird going from AC yesterday to heat this morning.
I have enjoyed my windows being open and saving a ton of money on no heat or AC for weeks and months now. I did turn a bit of heat on last night. We have had NO winter. But it’s turning cold next week.

I took a vacation day today to make a 4 day weekend with MLK day on Monday. I had a busy week at work so this is nice. Doing my taxes today.

Glad to hear things are a bit more settled down. Glad you still have a job also. I think the job security is an important thing right now. Good luck

    Somewhere between here and there
I made it to work fine. There were a few icy spots and my windshield iced a little but the roads weren't too bad. I just wonder what it's going to be like on the way home tonight. It's not supposed to get much warmer today.

It should be better I would think.

I don't know, the rain is supposed to turn into snow.
Fun stuff. One of the grandkids has a birthday party at the indoor ice arena tomorrow. Perfect timing to be in the middle of a snowstorm. Oh, well. It is winter.

Depending on where our kids end up living after I retire, I might seriously consider moving somewhere that gets little or no winter.
Works for me here in NC. We get snow once in awhile (many winters none) but it generally melts within hours. On even more rare occasions we'll get an ice storm or some sizeable snow and it shuts down the state for a couple days but by and large we really don't get very much winter weather here. NC, SC, GA, AL close to the same.

Same in Alabama as you mentioned. However, this has been the warmest winter in a long time here. I dislike cold weather so I love it. Give me summer year round and I’m happy, although having four distinct seasons is kinda nice. I hope it doesn’t turn cold now until April...I want an early spring. My flowers are already coming out of the ground.

Been warm here too RJ. 70's. I really prefer the cooler weather in winter. Summer is long enuf. Sharply cooler today which is a nice change.
