When I lived in the mountains I was up on a hill cutting firewood. Throwing rounds down the hill... the last 3 were big and I couldn't find a clear spot to throw them so I walked around to another spot. Threw them right on a nest of those damned things and they went nuts! Ran down to the truck, told my wife "get inside!" just in time. Whole swamp surrounded the truck. Never went back to get those rounds either.
Once in Yosemite one flew on my sandwich and I ate it... no bit or sting... I won!

Stopped for a break from driving with my son and his friends. They said I had a wasp in my hair so I flung my hair wildly with my hands (sure I had brushed it away) They said it was still in my hair... I laughed and said I'm not going to fall for that (they always mess with me) Finally saw my reflection in the car window... still there. They said I screamed like a little girl running around... they still tell that story to this day.
Oh forgot to mention got 3 stings before I reached the truck
My friend was fishing in a creek an climbing around... he fell into a nest. Really bad story... bites and stings (too many to count) He had to go to the ER.
It's not fair. My raspberry ingredients got lost by Fedex. My lemon samples were out for delivery and I was ready to do some mixing tonight. Just got an alert that they had been forwarded to a different address because of forwarding instructions, which is USPS speak for they were put on the wrong delivery truck. Since it's Friday I probably won't get them until Monday.
I feel for you @englishmick . One time I ordered from River Supply (and not my first time) and the order never shipped out for so long. I was ...... and sent several e-mails. Finally someone said they personally walked up to the manager and insisted it get sent out. They sent it and upgrade shipping to priority. Months later, I was looking back at my order history and noticed I checked "Pick up in store"... I felt so bad, it my fault the whole time.
