I wrote up a new recipe today... it's based on mlNikon's "Cronut" (sort of cream filled croissant donut with vanilla icing)
Here it is:
(WF) Croissant 2%

(RF) French toast 2%

(VT) Vanilla cream 2.5%

(WF) Flapper pie 2%

Lots of subs but a great excuse to use 3 of my new flavors. After steeping and a SFT, will try it with things like Lemon, Orange marmalade, Boysenberry preserves and blueberry (one at a time of course)
I think I'll call it "French Cronut"
I will happily add it to the blog once you've arrived at a final verdict.

Fried eggs, I like pickled eggs so MUCH and I was so uppity the husband made them for ages before I ventured into the void. I should get him to make some they are an awesome luncheon item etc.

Pickled eggs. Takes me back. They had pickled eggs in the pubs in London in the old days, in a big glass jar behind the bar. Went down great with a pint of bitter. In my local you could get one free on Sunday lunchtime, when I was young and broke we used to go down every Sunday for a pint with a free egg and a cheese and onion sandwich. Haven't had a pickled egg in years.

I'm anxious to try Pomegranate... any suggestions to mix with it (besides Dark chocolate/Butter mint I got it for)?

I make pomegranate pudding. 6% tfa pomegranate and 4% pudding base VT.

Fran, I mixed a 5% sft of the RF blackberry just for you. It’s just a little bit tart to me. Not super strong but good solid berry flavor on the exhale. To me it needs at least one other blackberry flavor to help it out. That’s why I mixed and liked it with the tfa. To me the Flv boysenberry gives the trinity that extra kick. Is the RF a must have for you? I don’t think so. I’m going to order a bigger bottle soon and I can send you some when I get it if you’d like to try it.

I just received a large bottle of pudding base. I know you have mentioned previously you tend to play with it at higher percentages than I have. It's an amazing flavor to have in the arsenal. I am trying to get the percentages right with it and cornbread (000).

I love this thread and the random posting as well. I may not post a lot but I do read at times. I don't know Anna but I think she's fabulous for sharing her life adventures with us.

I really need to mix. I don't have any excuse not to do so. However, significant other is on furlough and I must be his entertainment to get though the lock down/safer at home order. We are both high risk so shopping is limited to once a week. I'm grateful that vape companies have offered masks to purchase. My nurse friend ordered some from vapenw. She was thrilled to be able to buy without a long wait.

Cinnamon is sweet and hazelnut won’t lesson sweetness.
The cinnamon I have is not sweet (that's actually why I chose it) but you are right, even hazelnut won't make it less sweet.
BTW, it's (FA) Cinnamon ceylon. Oh well, I'll still make it and save it for those "sweet tooth" moments.

I have a feeling this one will require more tweaking of the % (ratios) It's sort of a base but might be good on it's own. Kinda new territory for me.
Did you happen to try mixing my Chunky chocolate orange butter mint? Next version is with Pomegranate (which I tried in real life and was even better than orange) I'm quite sure raspberry would be great but don't have any (but do have boysenberry)
I have a feeling after I try all these chocolate/fruit/mint I will burn out on chocolate... already have ideas for various coffee recipes.

What is the best (cheapest actually) way to send a few small sample bottles to someone? Small box or bubble wrap (I have both) Does USPS just charge by weight? My friend and I want to exchange a few to try out.

Aww you guys are so sweet. In one of my first mature acts like, I read a couple posts and I was like dood you want me to get ANOTHER PSYCHIATRIST, they cost a LOT YOU KNOW!!! And I was like, life is too damn short sometimes, and was like "OMG I swore I would never ignore anyone!" but I was like, "No, some things should just be ignored. Like this guy in a three piece suit I saw this one time, and his three poor perfect children behind him noting dog poo on the ground and stating firmly but calmly as he stepped around it, "Mind the feces, children."

I thought LOOONG and I thought HARD about what I might say to that gentleman and his poor kiddos but I was also too distracted in trying to not LAUGH aloud because those kiddos life was hard enough.

Then I thought about ramifications and was like, "Life is too short." LOL. I pretended as if the gentleman were the poo, only snorting now and then. But, THEN I got to hear nice things about me. Thanks and @Bronze LOL hearing your wise words were like the equivalent of my older brother saying, "I don't hate you ENTIRELY Anna." Only smarter. IDK, he might utter them over my grave as doves fly over only I'd rather have a command like "release the HOUNDS!!" Or coyotes. Seems better somehow.

The floors are clean I even did the dishes and like I found a place to stay in Show Low for the princely sum of 49 dollars. ALSO, Sunday to Monday I think. I didn't do yoga but if I get to bed on time I might be able to coax a massage outa the husband. Tomorrow is another day.

I just mention that because when I called my mom to cry she mentioned it Scarlett O'Hara style. I was like "Mom, that was NOT an OPTIMISTIC utterance, the chick just realized she drove the good dood away AT LAST and for some spineless wimpy guy who probably didn't even know how to (I did not use the F word to my mom.)"

She just snorted and said, "You don't need a man to be happy." I couldn't argue it really to be fair. I thought it was a tragic like statement of despair like, as in, "I just failed at life completely but I refuse to change my thinking." My mom said she was using it in the "tomorrow is another
day," sort of literal kind of sense. I was like well mom if you wanted to say that, there is a better saying like it is called "One day at a time" and in rehab I used to stare at it and hate it and she laughed. She laughed harder when like I well, I pointed out like, she was talking to a Phil/English lit major and in a fit of enthusiasm like, decided to use one of my Faulkner prof's early "writings" which was a literary analysis on Gone with The Wind and Apply it to like, David Foster Wallace and he really shut up the discussion of my paper very fast.

I just kinda figured he wanted to spend more like times in well, spending time on the folks who were to be externally examined by other experts in their fields the next day it never occurred to me he was EMBARRASSED but like, well he was probably. I am sure there was a time Gone with the Wind was considered literary fiction not romantic comedy and I DID have fun with some of my professors statements and comparing them to the levitating "meditator of athletes" who lived on tennis player sweat and would come out with aphorisms for them.

I feel awful now. LOL. Almost bedtime. It's like I was the student equivalent of the dog of ours who came happily waving tail flapping to show off my poo I had not buried well enough due to the swarms of mosquitos, like biting me ALL OVER.[

If I could do a parody song it would be "If I knew it then I should a put a rock on it." Beyoncé song or however it goes. Yeah I was JUST like the DOG.

    OH retrograde embarrassment y'all.

So looking to my own home was awesome today.

Reminds me of what I witnessed on my way to the corner store yesterday. 2 mothers having a chat in a front yard just down the street from me. They were a good 15 feet apart so guess we could say they were practicing social distancing. 2 children were also present, about 3 or 4 years old so still in that human larva stage as my cat likes to refer to them as. One mother had a bubble making machine, blowing bubbles in the air for the sprogs to chase...as sprogs do. But every time they got close to one another, the mothers would belt out “THATS NOT 6 FEET”, like the kids who are just being kids understands that. You do not want your kids to play together, then stop blowing bubbles for them to chase together. Felt compelled to say something, but bit my tongue and just carried on.

Ya know.... there is one thing I despise, and that's frickin (can't curse here)bullying. Get the frig out of our thread. Anna is ours whether she likes it or not. And you will not be allowed to make her feel any kind of way due to your own inadequacies. Get to steppin as we say in Miami. .........

I love Red X's by the way.....

Sorry to everyone who I may have offended.
You’ll have to settle for a red heart:wub:
