We had possible t-storm in our forecast yesterday. We got one small clap of thunder and enough rain the speckle the deck. Today we have the chance once again but I’m not holding my breath. We do need some rain badly.

My plan is to try and survive this terrible heat wave. 90 again today. Well tomorrow is to be less hot so I can look forward to that. At the moment I am much enjoying a cool morning while it lasts.
When I was in college I visited my friend one very hot weekend at Texas A&M. She had no AC! She would take a T shirt, wet it in the sink, wring out the excess water and wear the shirt to sleep in. It worked pretty well. If I were you, I'd give it a shot.
Years ago we went to a friend's outdoor wedding. The bar provided transport but some folks drove their own cars. I barely made it through the wedding vows. I had to get out of there. It was so hot I was melting ice cubes on my arms. When we got back to the bar I went in the bathroom, stripped off my shirt and put it under ice-cold water. I wrung it out and put it on. By the time I made it back to the bar stool the shirt was dry.

Just had a bigish order from BCF delivered. I'll be entering new flavorings in my flavor stash and trying to figure out what I should mix first. I want to do a Dinner Lady Lemon Tart clone and I found some on the blog that I had planned to use, but I just found one on ELR that uses the Chemnovatic lemons. I want to use the Chem lemons so I think I'll go with that one on the first round.
