The last system I had was the 360 and I go my use out of it for sure. Lots of great games. I finally gave it away last year. Now all I have is a Sega Genesis in my closet. I still bust it out every now and again to play Sonic. If I do decide to get another system down the road, I will probably end up with a PS4.I started on Video games when they came out in the 70's with a Atari 2600.Now I have a Xbox1X with a 75" 4k TV. Big difference! When the new Xbox comes out the end of the year I will buy it, already saved the money.
But I've been on disability a long time and need something to do to fill the days and gaming is it for me. I can't do a lot of physical activity so gaming is pretty much it. And this forum of course.![]()
The PS2 is probably my all time favorite system. I had a lot of good memories playing MVP baseball and Metal Gear Solid on the Sony.I used to play a lot more. I had the original xbox, ps2, and Nintendo wii. I still have them all but they aren't hooked up except for the wii because the kids like to use it when they are home.
I started on the Nintendo and ended with the original PS1(my favorite with MGS and FFIX). After that, I went PC. I wanted the PS2, but it was cheaper to play on the family PC. I never went back to console. The games I really wanted to play back then were FFX and MGS. But now I can play FFX on my PCThe PS2 is probably my all time favorite system. I had a lot of good memories playing MVP baseball and Metal Gear Solid on the Sony.
From CASAA--please donte if you can, and share everywhere:
To all of our members,
All things considered, CASAA has had a good run. Since our inception in 2009, we’ve helped elevate the voice of consumers to a degree that top officials at the Food and Drug Administration make public statements acknowledging the benefits of vaping and other smoke-free alternatives. We need your help to keep this energy going.
As you well know, CASAA membership is free. We provide all of our services and information to the public without asking for much in return. We don’t sell our members’ data and we don’t put up paywalls. We rely 100% on voluntary donations. So when we tell you that we’ve seen an almost 40% decline in donations over the past year, understand that it means our ability to continue providing information and services is in grave danger.
In light of this, we are doing something we’ve never really done before: We are asking you, plainly and simply, to donate to CASAA. Today. Right now.
DONATE NOW
The truth is, if every person who opened this email donated just $2.00, we’d have the funding we need to stay operational for the rest of the year. If even half of those people signed up for monthly $2.00 donations, our operating costs would be covered, and we could start implementing plans for expansion.
What would expansions look like for CASAA?
· Let’s get some real lobbying power. Lobbying firms are expensive and for years consumers have been left to rely on industry associations to provide lobbying resources such as access to lawmakers and even seats at public hearings. We need our own voice in legislatures and we need to pay for it on our own.
· Expanded Programs. Prepping for spoken testimony, educational materials for lawmakers, and PR campaigns all require up-front investment of money and people power. More funding = more staff and more opportunities to reach people outside of the vaping community.
· Sustained defense against enduring threats. Just because the FDA is promising to crack down on non-compliant manufacturers after September 9, 2020, doesn’t mean that our fight is over. Anti-nicotine idealogues are pressuring all levels of government to enact stricter laws that are creating new problems and we need to be equipped to respond as well as proactively fix existing bad policies.
Me too.I saw that on my email earlier today and already donated.
Seems to me you were rather worried about that so I'm glad it's almost done.I didn't....but as soon as my check arrives I am gonna.
I can't believe I am almost already credentialed. That was dizzyingly fast for a government entity.
Oh well, glad I am feeling somewhat better.
I am dreading going down to the house because I know How It Will BE. LOL.

My real mommy, well she wasn't sick of me exactly today but kind of in like this fried state where like, um, she had too much happening for herself.. She really needs to do less sometimes.
Like, I should bathe and it's getting late. I MUST DO IT. I am boring, even to myself.

Bored here also, could be worse...No this boredom thing is really working out, I could bathe and then henna my hair and leave it in o/n and see what happens (I bought a thing for that, but a trashbag over the pillowcase (hmm...safety, perhaps not. Perhaps one I DO NOT care about but it is TIME for me to RISE UP AND DO SOME CRAP!!! I definitely like need a chill out type of day though. I could see if *I* myself could reline my dentures, bet it's possible.
So many options. But, I am loving the boredom.
