Contact them, I am sure they will send you another. You can still use the oxidized one, I have one that was out for years and while stronger and darker, it is fine. But, I only vape 3 mg nic.
I vape 3mg usually. Lately with stress at work I have jumped to 5-10mg/mL I vape tobacco flavors so I might just go ahead and try it only in tobacco mixes. I'm not to fussy and I still have nic from 2011. Each of the vape apocalypse over the years I tried to stock up . I need to take a inventory again.

That's worrisome. That is when I ordered a couple of liters from them too. I still have them in the original containers unopened.
I finally got around to opening the one liter tonight. I have to wait for the humans to go to bed. I was kinda shocked. I have ordered before from RS and never had darker nic.

That might make a bit of a difference, but I don't know. But you say it doesn't have any smell, right?
Smells like the other pg nic. Most nic to be has a medium tobacco like smell. It's hard to describe but its not a strong smell. Maybe I'll just order pg/vg and dilute it so I get over the "color".

I wonder if it was the HEAT of August during shipping that caused it?

My nicotine from Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers was slightly amber as well. I don't think it affects the quality of the product because the last liter I had, started out clear, but turned amber before I could finish it. I never could detect a difference in nic strength or taste.

Oh so all nic smells no matter the quality? All I have been mixing with so far is a 12mg premixed base, so I don't have any frame of reference for what good nic should smell like, if anything. The 2 liters from Nic River were my first actual big nicotine purchases.

That's the same color (amber) of my Nude Nicotine 100mg/ml that I placed in a 60ml clear PET bottle after about 3 weeks or so. Clear when half filled. Left over from 1 liter that went into freezer.
Good to know. I sent River Supply an inquiry and will await for a response.

my nic is always a bit darker than normal, but it's not that dark...just a little yellow tint....I just assumed it's because it's salt nic and in 100% vg...seeing as how vg is a bit darker in color than pg...but never noticed in quality issues with it

Yes, but be careful if you plan on sniffing it! :) It does have a medium odor. The first time I attempted to smell nicotine base I swear I almost made myself pass out..and no I'm not a huffer. Of course that was 10 years ago.
