My wife took my brother in law to a doctor appointment at two today and they sent him to the emergency room. She’s been with him ever since. They are going to admit him and she’s hoping to come home soon.

Tomorrow is my Friday at work. I got a fair amount of stuff in today so should be able to stay busy. I’m going to try to mix a few sft this weekend and maybe try one or two new recipes.
    Hope your BIL is ok.

I actually did that (a friend had this book with a way to make insecticide spray... make a "tea" from chewing tobacco, add listerine and baby shampoo... worked great!)
My dad used to make that!!! It was in the old old “Square Foot Gardening”book. Brings back memories :)

Another (WF) flavor I'm not familiar with (I have been very happy with the ones I have tried so far)
Thumbs up for doing SFTs... I always do for new flavors myself.
They’re brand new flavors. Early reviews sounded promising though
I only do SFTs under duress lol, or a complete absence of ideas on what it really tastes like

Me too. Sft’s aren’t at the top of my list of things to do

Does anyone on here store their nic in a mini freezer inside their home? Or do most of you store it in a freezer out in the garage?

The reason I ask is that I will have to place a mini freezer in my home and am worried about the noise level. There are several 1.1 cu ft freezer options, but I don't know quiet these things tend to be. If anyone has any experience with these types of small freezers, any advice would be appreciated.

BTW, the freezer will have to be stored in my bedroom, so that is the reason noise is a primary concern.

I have a 3.1 cuft one in my basement. It very seldom makes any noise. Every once in a while I hear the compressor or whatever kick on but it’s not loud.

I've got mine in the office. It does hum a bit. It was noticeable when I first got the thing but after a while it faded into the background. About the same level of sound as air coming out of the duct. Wouldn't worry about it. I think the brain tunes out steady low level noises.

I don't know, my brain is generally pretty empty and easily distracted.

Just a few weeks ago there was a lot of talk about how quiet ECF was getting and would it just fade away. Now it's super busy and I gave up trying to keep up with the handful of threads I follow. I've been busy, plus nothing much happens in my vape life these days. I live vicariously through you guys.

I haven't had any desire to buy anything new for a long time. But today I decided to get a couple of new decks for the BB. There should be time for it to get through customs before the Deeming date,

I just got one wall of my house redone with cement siding. Most of the rest is cedar. I put new cedar siding on half the house 3 or 4 years back but that's hard work and I'm getting old. The wall I just had done faces south and it takes a beating, the cedar was falling apart. I had one short wall done with cement 15 years ago right after I moved in and it still looks like it was done yesterday. That stuff lasts forever. They primed it but didn't paint it so now the new wall needs painting. Wife decided she wants new colors. Mustard yellow walls with teal trim, you'll be able to see it glowing from space. I'll get as much of the house painted as I can before the winter. Also have to clean and stain the deck. It's going to be a busy few weeks coming up.

No vape mail for me today, but I did get a new toy. I got my Lifefuels water bottle. It's a water bottle that you can insert three flavor pods that squirt measured amounts of flavor into the water and it tracks your water consumption on an app. I've had it for 1/2 day and I've drank 3/4 my day's quota of water. Obviously I won't get the full amount in today.

I picked up my car after spending $500 getting the oil pan repaired. I was told that I had a transmission solenoid out, but that shop didn't work on transmissions. I took the car to a transmission shop. They said they could do it in about a month, but it would be better if I took it to a local shop that specifically works on German cars. I took it to that shop and now have an appointment for two weeks from now, with an estimate of $1000-$1500. He has to pull the transmission out and he goes ahead and replaces all the solenoids so he doesn't have to do it again later. Anybody want to loan me $500? I spent too much on vape gear, but even if I hadn't I'd probably be short. I hope my brother can help me if it's too high.

YES - I do store NIC in a 1.1 cubic mini-freezer and inside my bedroom apartment. AND - If I remember correctly - I think I pointed you to the one at Walmart that I got. So if you actually got the same one: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Arctic-King-1-1-cu-ft-Upright-Freezer-AUFM011AEW-White/248677244 . . . I might be able to help you out.

As I mentioned before - I too keep the Freezer in the bedroom, but hidden away in the clothes closet. So, to answer your question, at first - YES - it does make noise and actually gets hot when you plug it in and turn it on. . . Then when it settles down and finally gets cold (about an hour or so), no noise at all - even when I open the closet door.

Also, I'm going to strongly suggest that you raise it off the floor (if only slightly) and put a "Pan" at least 1"-2" wider then the freezer under the freezer. Especially since, frost will build up over time and the freezer will eventually need to be defrosted. I've had the freezer plugged in for 10 month and there is some frosted (minor, but still there) on the sidewalls and bottom shelf.

In addition, I have the freezer sitting on a 20" square solid wood parsons table with 1 pan under the freezer and another pan under the parson's table. I also keep the freezer at least 2" away from the Closet wall & doors so there is space/air around the freezers.

    Really hope this information is somewhat helpful . . , Just Sayin' . . . :D

One question before my coil search. What do you folks think of internal battery mods? For myself, I have no problem with them at all. The only internals I ever lost were the old 20w iSticks. All my bigger sticks and other internals are still going strong.

All of my internal battery mods are still going strong!

Thanks for letting me know about the noise situation. While I likely will end up with a different freezer, I am glad to hear that noise has not been an issue. The ones I am strongly considering are...

    and
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084H3ZTZ...olid=10I3KWAYU109E&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

In regards to placing a pan down, have you experienced leaking from the freezer, or is that more of a precaution? I was planning on placing a mat down between the bedroom floor and the freezer.

Make sure you put your freezer on a pan. You could probably find something similar at a farm store or such. It just needs a rim for when you defrost or condensation (may happen).

Most of the nic I get was from RS... never had an issue (the "pur nic) but it has been awhile... is this a new issue?
I bought a few liters from RS in the past and never had a problem until this last order. I'm getting a replacement but I don't have a good feeling about it. One week transit time from CA to WI. It will sit over the weekend. I suppose I'll have enough insecticide to last a life time. :)
