I tried to reach the thermostat. No frinkin way my small hand will fit. I honestly believe the thermostat is stuck open/closed somewhere. I'm still getting heat/air conditioning but that darn check engine light is still on. I have a print out from autozone with code PO128 I had to do the test myself for free at autozone. I may have to do some more investigation with it before shelling out any money.

may be useful. First bit of data that came up for me was:
"The
P0128 code means that the engine coolant is not getting warm enough, fast enough"
Low coolant (radiator fluid, NOT pluid

) can cause that, and is pretty easy to check, and the first step. If the "overflow" tank is at the right level, then the next step would be the thermostat, may be stuck open. Apparently, the oxygen sensor may also be the culprit... Hope it's just low or the thermostat!
