    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning. My phone has been acting crazy. Started opening apps when I hit the home button and keyboard typing by itself. Not sure what is going on. I might try doing a full reset.

I’m going to mix some more Lmn# shortly since I’m getting low.

@hittman ... did you see Julia Su’s tobacco brulee recipe? Is there a stixx I could sub for red burley? My tobacco selection is pretty slim

Yes, I saw it. I don’t have the red burley or burnt sugar and bcf doesn’t have the sugar. I’m not sure about subbing.

    Is Julia on ELR?

Thanks, SMT. Would you consider this a base? And notes? Yes, please. I'll link to them, too.

I'm terrible at names and, in any case, for recipes favor the utilitarian over the clever.

Later . . . Just noticed there are already versions of this and your caramel in the blog. You posted them here for Mel on June 5. The butterscotches differ a little. Does this latest supersede the first? For now, I've included both as versions 1 and 2?
I wouldn't necessarily consider it a base. Others may. ;)

This butterscotch recipe does supersede the first. So does my caramel. They've matured over time. I'm still gathering my updated caramel info. :D

Here is the recipe and notes so they're all in one place. Figured it would be a lot easier for you.

    Creamy Butterscotch recipe ( 30ml ):

    FW Butterscotch Ripple 3.7%
    FA Butterscotch 2%
FW Natural Butterscotch 10 drops (for 30ml)
FA Madagascar Vanilla (Vanilla Classic) 3%
    FA Vienna Cream 0.8%
FLV Cream 7 drops (for 30ml)

It's good after a 1 week steep but much better at 2-3 weeks. Fully developed at 4 weeks.

    My Notes (copied from eJuiceMeUp):

IMO there is no one butterscotch to rule them all. So doubling or even tripling different b-scotch's worked very nicely for a convincing b-scotch. It took me a while to get this one to where I was satisfied and stopped fiddling with it.

FW Butterscotch Ripple is a real nice creamy butterscotch. It's weak on the butterscotch side. Needs other butterscotch flavors for something convincing.

If you want even more butterscotch flavor then boost FA Butterscotch to 2.5%. FA butterscotch is a Euro butterscotch unlike USA sweet ones it is darker.

Alternatively, if you want to boost the butterscotch flavor without adding b-scotch then lower FA Madagascar Vanilla from 3% to 2% - 2.5%

FW Natural Butterscotch was the missing b-scotch for this recipe. It brought the recipe to life. Didn't need much.

If you want it less sweet then lower the FA Vienna Cream to 0.5% or if you prefer sweeter then boost it to between 1.0% - 1.5%
    Creams make for good sweeteners.

FLV Cream is there for fullness and mouthfeel. I think it's one of the best creams. It's really good.

FA Madagascar Vanilla is useful in many recipes. It's one of my favorite vanillas.

That looks good! Would you guestimate that 7 drops of Cream in a 30 ml bottle to be around 1.5 %, my Algebra is broken this morning and I think my coffee is too.
Good heavens, math and I are not the best of friends on a good day.

I use eJuiceMeUp for recipes. EJMU says 20 drops = 1ml. Google search says the same.

In EJMU 7 drops of FLV Cream = 1.15% (0.345g). The drops are from a 10ml BCF bottle. When I tried 1.15% FLV Cream in my recipe it was stronger than what it should be.

FW Natural Butterscotch 10 drops = 1.7% (0.51g). That was also stronger than just using drops from the 10ml BCF bottle.

Knowing flavors vary in weight likely accounts for those being stronger when using those %'s. Flavors fall into a range of 0.93g per ml to 1.07g per ml. In EJMU you can only set one weight for flavors globally.

To make matters worse, ELR's default for drops per ml = 35. o_O I changed it to 20 (what the rest of the world says) and got the same numbers as EJMU.

Bottom line, I was too lazy to figure out the accurate numbers so I stuck with drops for FLV Cream and FW Natural Butterscotch.

For me to figure out the accurate percentages I will need to get the weight of each in total drops and then match those in EJMU or ELR.

For now, drops it is. :D

I was in my kitchen and heard a loud mower or something on the side of my house. The new neighbor paid someone to aerate his lawn. The idiot got on the incline between our yards and slid down and spun the tires in my yard. I went out and yelled at him. The neighbor came out and apologized. Not his fault, just the operator not knowing how to run the equipment. I’m still ......! I just planted new seed last weekend.

@Krazys karma, I think it would be best for you to ask all your DIY questions here. That way you get everyone's very knowledgeable input and can make your own decisions.

There are many people in this thread who combined have many years of DIY experience for you to draw upon. We're all friendly and willing to help. :)

Ok so Storing VG/PG. I store mine in a room in my basement where it is always cool and dark. Some store them in closets, pantries etc..

Others here can weigh in on how they store theirs. Then you can figure out what is best for you. :D

Verdict on the CLR 2 (where I substituted vanilla pudding for the vanilla bourbon) - after a full week of steeping it's very nice. The pudding complemented the other ingredients.

I wouldn't use it as an ADV, a bit too rich, complex, but an excellent changeup, great with a good cup of coffee.

Don't be leaking your "Mom" juice all over the place

Nah, my RTA is behaving itself. LOL. I came back all happy.; Man I love that stuff. It gets better with steeping (I have added various berries) but it's all about the Mascarpone cream cheese (wonder flavors) it has this bitter kind of bite to it, that is unlike any of my other flavoring.

It doesn't really TASTE like it but I think the best way I could describe it is brie cheese that is on it's very last legs.

You gotta remember I spent a lot of time in France though. I could probably vape that flavor straight.; I find it oddly delicious and some of you might, at a lower percentage but I am like.... ooh, awesome

I went to Walmart. I hate going there at the best of times. I gotta freaking..... Do my med box shortly then this review, and then Sigh. Yoga. Yoga and LOTS of it is part of my day every day. The old body seems to be holding up but its not as much fun when I am like, "You have to do 2 hours of yoga so you can sleep."

That seems to be the case. I am getting good at some new stuff and way strong, but it's less pleasant than when I don't "have" to do it.

Being out there was weird. The world is always weird for a few days especially when you d/c a med like Ambien. It sucks. Oh well good practice for tomorrow.

I hope my doctor is not a jerk. I really do.

So I got into the Sweet Rice last night.
    50ml bottle
    1ml Sweet Rice SC
    1ml Sweet Cream TFA
    1ml Pudding Base VT

This is really, really tasty right off the bat - can't wait to see how it evolves !

    But...here's really funny thing...
The laaaaaaast little bit of exhale is like the best buttered popcorn you have ever had !
I wonder where the heck that came from - but I have to admit I like it a lot.
(You NEVER would have got me to vape popcorn !)
    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

So the Buttered Popcorn flavor I picked up has been driving me batty
I ended up doing a SFT of the Sweet Rice - THAT'S where the popcorn flavor is coming from
So, I doubled the base in the SFT and it mellowed out the popcorn.
I think once I finish the mixed bottle I will re-make it with 1/2ml of Sweet Rice instead of 1ml to get what I was aiming for.
Don't get me wrong, I still think the first batch is good, it just isn't what I was wanting.

Isn’t it funny how that works out sometimes
Aiming for something but it turns out different but still good
