In my effort to ah, make mixing great again I actually was organized THIS week enough to like, get my work done, read BACK a bit in the thread,, etc. etc. I even set up a session with my DUMB as rocks doc who is acting DUMB because he doesn't want to call pharmacologists for me. I DO want to call them but they all say crud like Oh, bring your 800 dollars and MAYBE he will talk to you during your initial evaluation. He broke me, I moved he can darn well fix me or provide meds for life.

    I swear.

So anyway he found me the ONE CRAPPY psychopharmacologies in WV and suggested I call him. I told him to stop doctor reading and to READ my email and I was not asking HIM to recommend me doctors, I found HIM did I not, I would provide him with a list of oh, say 20 and like, HE could just move on down the list until he found one who is like, "Okay I will see your patient."

I think I'm getting over the Ambien w/d Heh. They are providing me with like a cofacilitator and I thought she was a psychologist so she was gonna suck (and no offense psychologists but you suck) but many DO suck but she is a SW and if you could come up with someone even LESS like my predecessor (as in bubbly, cheerful and all nutz) you would have to try hard. She was like a character of me. in a nice way, and whatnot. LOL.

I explained how all they were hating ATM (when people stay in one job for oh. 14 years, that happens) well you have a bumpy ride. She was like "I HAD THE SAME THING." She was like asking about my groups and I said I was structured due to being a DBT therapist but I was also trained in psychodrama techniques so to follow where I led like, if the group were being really annoying and monosyllabic, I might turn to her and say in a drone, "Hey co-facilitator you want to have a conversation in group about drugs which means nothing because it contains nothing," and we would role play that for a few minutes,, like, until they got the hint and then we would turn at the same instant and swivel and like eh...stare them down like lasers. She seemed fine with it.

IDK I told the head SW I had 9 group members and 3 individual sessions the other day ;She looked like she was gonna vomit. I thought it was not bad for like. COVID and groups having to be small and NO actual caseload. I said nothing. I still have not gotten my former therapist's caseload due to IT.

Because, I have identified government management strategy. THEY ONLY want to hear good stuff. They don't want to hear bad stuff, or problems they do not want to fix.

This is the reason the government sucks. I sort of half-attended the SW group meeting and it was just all talking about more meetings and pats on the back.

My favorite scheduler is the most passive aggressive person I have EVER met. To be fair her mom named her "(UO{GIJ"EIOJGPOWR}OG" only harder to pronounce, any time you make a request she says, "I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU." Or, "I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU MEAN."
Then you send again, and it sits.

Today I had enough, I shouted back, "NEVER MIND I GAVE IT TO YOUR SUPERVISOR TO COMPLETE." She was like "OKAY."

So she might just be dumb but she also started a scheduling "group" called "Mental Health Gurus" which has a sort of religious connotation to it and they are HARDLY freaking gurus. I may find a way to add her to my every request to her supervisor and then sort of dually type "NEVER MIND YOU ARE SLOW AS A WET WEEK" but you know. don't know how far I want to go in writing either. She is rude, she doesn't acknowledge you when you say hello, she ASKED me my clinic groups and I was like, "Um... is your job title scheduler? Don't you think you should-----sigh. Clinic 1, clinic 2. clinc 3/."

    She is dumb. Dumb like a fox alright. I will figure her out ONE DAY.;

@barkfunklerbunk I'm sorry about your nana, @Skeebo and @rosesense I hope you get over the accidental exposures and since one was the men's room I will say droplet in AEROSOL form not other droplet forms.

LMAO... I was in there thinking, why is everyone giving me the stink eye? Then when I got to the sink I realized I was the only dude not wearing a face mask. I had it too, in the car. As I walked out of the bathroom and through the store part of the truck stop I think every person noticed too. When I got back in the car my wife says, "good job not wearing your Facemask babe (sarcastically)".

    I am going to demand a 90 day supply of ALL my meds, better safe than sorry. That doesn't mean I will get them? But if he says no I can rightfully cite my email and point out he is FORCING me into the rapid detox unit and I will sue him sideways but let us hope it do not come to that.;

God knows. I see him Thursday but he has never let me down yet, He's either a nice guy, knows I am a SW who works the system in my favor, or both.

I mean I cannot freaking MAGIC a pharmacologist who is so un-busy he answers his Own Phone to what "may be spam" although I am starting to think THAT pharmacologist may be my Guy, only in the sense he will be arrested in a year.

But what a year. I kid, I kid.

Ooh docs HATE out of state continuity of care. But he gonna have to do his job I have TRIED my best. IT isn't' working.

@Skeebo I have been mask less occasionally by accident sign. On only one occasion I started yelling at the guy (who was masked he was fine) "I forgot mine in the car!! Where is your as:censored:e sign? YOU GET YOURS, I WILL GO GET MINE. But until you do, NO."

He was all snippy and screaming at me across the store though it was a jerk. That was my "I lost it COVID moment" apart from that it will be fine.

Well, I don't wipe down group rooms because i cant' find gloves (in a hospital, on the MH floor and outpatient but STILL.) They use the cancerous when wet cleaning fluid and I refuse to bring my own gloves from home to a a hospital I mean come on.

My coworker had his mask below his chin today walking through multiple hospitals. He’s the type that thinks this whole Covid thing is ridiculous so I took it that was his way of “following the rules” yet defiantly bucking them simultaneously. I used the hand sanitizer the entire time and tried to stay my distance from him.

I have my annual checkup tomorrow at another hospital. I’ll be glad when tomorrow is over and the weekend is here. It’s been a busy week.

I have that resting "he looks nuts" face, so it helps in these matters. If they only knew my softer, understanding side they may have said something.

Thank you for providing the food brand information. I tried researching it last night on the GSD forum and by the time I was finished I was even more confused. I did not know that about the bloat, so thank you for providing this much needed tip. We did soak Kai's food but it wasn't because we knew about the bloat. It was the only way we could get him to eat it.

I introduce Buster Rage Tyson.... or, simply Buster as well like to call him:

He's only 6 weeks old, and I know what they suggest age wise, but he is really doing well.
Omg omg omg... Puppy breath and snuggles from such a cutie? Heaven!!!

I screwed up a tad yesterday. When the wife and I were heading back home I stopped at a large truck stop to use the bathroom. While in the bathroom I noticed everyone looking at me strangely. A very uncomfortable feeling in a men's room. But then I realized, I forgot to put my mask on...

With the pre-existing condition I have I need to be more aware. Dumb move.

I did that a couple of weeks ago, the only time I've forgotten. Got as far as the entrance area in the supermarket where you pick up your cart. A girl around 8 years old turned towards me. Put her hands on her hips and gave me a stern look then pointed at her face. Once I realised what was going on I thanked her for tipping me off.

Hope your fever isn't anything serious.

Thanks I'll probbly be asking you for some kind of help. If there any forum where it breaks now nic like if I want 3mg in a bottle of 60ml 120ml bottle? Where it has exactly how much goes into like 10 ml, 30ml,60ml,90ml,100ml or like 120 I hope I said this rite.
I've been reading your posts (and you are doing fine)... don't mean to give you a hard time at all but it's really just basic math. It is much easier to mix your base (unflavored) first then add flavors. Yes, the flavors will dilute the nic and add some PG but it's not a big deal. I mix my unflavored base 100 ml at a time (makes it super easy to do the math) 70 ml VG + 30 ml PG = 100 ml. I will admit, doing the math on the nic (I have some in VG, some in PG and some in 50/50... half/half) does get complicated (and I'm really good at math) What I do is have marks on my bottle (120 ml so there is extra space for air to shake it up) The marks are every 10 ml with the top mark at 100 ml (that way the ml = percent) I have two "extra" marks for the nic (depending on if it's PG or VG) Haven't tried this yet with the 50/50 nic. Yea, I guess it really does get complicated after all. Just realized using the 50/50 nic is going to be a ...... I take it back... it may be "basic math" but it isn't actually simple. Have I totally confused you? I sure have confused myself LOL

Today I went through a bunch of vape vendor emails and started cancelled them. Only leaving the flavoring vendors. Half of all my emails are from vape vendors and I stopped buying stuff a while back. Kind of a sad thing to do, accepting that I'm not in the game any more.

Getting back to politics. I had the news on the TV this morning, for some reason the sound was off and subtitles were on. I glanced up at the TV and saw "larco pants are in the White House today". Not sure what they are but I hope the secret service get them rounded up.

Yeah, not me. Med-well is how I ordered it and rare is how I got it. Outback is usually better than that.
Me too. When I was young, my uncle would order a steak and say "burn it". They would say "what do you mean sir?" He would say "it doesn't matter what I order it's always rare... so burn it!"
Don't get me wrong (I do like some pink inside) but not blood all over my plate and the faint sound of mooing ;)

Dang the wife left for a couple of hours, sure is quieter around here.

Have to find something to do that she disapproves of.:banana::banana:
When my wife was gone, I would play music that she doesn't like... stuff like my "Irish drinking songs" collection. Funny thing is she has more Irish/Scottish than me but I just love those songs when I'm in the mood.

I grew up with dogs... had cats most of my adult life... don't have either now:(
I love dogs (and cats... don't tell me I have to choose... love them both) Anyway, because I miss doggies so much, I have actually asked friends if I could just roll around in the mud with their dog :) I did help a friend walking her dog ( a full size poodle.. not one of those little "toy" poodles... a real dog) She payed me for doing it (I actually needed the money but would have done it for free anyway)

    Not the dreaded C word?!?!

I've never called my wife that... but I did learn at a young age you never ever ever call a black woman the "B" word.
Sounds like wounded male ego, Damn I've never talked to woman or anybody like that! I might rant and rave to myself - Sorry you had such a rough day @stols001 Anna, have a better night

Wish you were close by. I lost my 17 yr old Easter cat, would you believe the same day I won that FastTech Anniversary give away, but still have my 5 Yr old Big Girl. House feels so bare without that Old Lady. Took Big Girl to the quarry for a swim this morning

I never mix some kind of base first.

Different mixes have different amounts of flavoring.

Do your nic first, based on what you want the final mg/ml to be, and how many total ml you want.

    I use 100 mg/ml nic base, and vape at 2 mg/ml.

    The math works as:
    (Desired mg/ml) / (nic mg/ml) = % of nic

    For me:
    (2 mg/ml) / (100 mg/ml) = 1/50 = 0.02 = 2%

For any given final amount of eliquid, amount x 0.02 = nic needed

    30 ml? 30 x 0.02 = 0.6 ml of the 100 mg/ml
    50 ml? 50 x 0.02 = 1.0 ml of the 100 mg/ml

Next, add the flavors. They're normally spec'd as % to use.

Same concept as for nic - final amount x % = amount of a given flavor.

Add up all the ml of nic and flavors, say it came to 4.5 ml in a 30ml mix.

30 - 4.5 = 25.5 ml = how much plain pg and vg "filler" to add.

If you want max vg (are sensitive to PG), make that filler all vg.

If you aren't sensitive to pg, a lot of tanks do nicely with about equal amounts of pg and vg in the eliquid.

Since pg is okay for me, and since:
    1. my nicotine base is pg (easier for me to work with)
    2. My flavorings are either pg or alcohol base (okay to think of as if they are pg)

I just add 50% vg and 50% - (ml of nic and flavorings) worth of pg.:

    Vg: 30 ml: 30 x 0.5 = 15ml of vg
    PG: 30 x 0.5 - 4.5ml (nic & flavorings) = 15 - 4.5 = 10.5 ml of plain pg to add
