First, Thank you, for your concern and I really do appreciate your suggestions, especially given your personal experiences.
However, as a FYI - I am very lucky, I do have an exceptional GP (Who is quite experienced & a specialist) who worked with me to maintain my A1c below 7 & my general overall health for the past 11 years.
As well as a very good Endocrinologist, who I started seeing when my A1c went up to 9.6, because of a leg infection (only started insulin approximately 6 - 8 months ago).
Thankfully, I am still Type 2 diabetic (A1c 8.3), just need to get my daily numbers down.
BTW: As a "retired" LSW - I am very much an advocate, especially when it comes to my health - as I have for others for years too, particularly as a counselor in "HBMT" . . . Just Sayin' . . .
