Have you ever made smoked mac and cheese. One of the guys I work with makes it and brought some in to share before. I've made it once. It is a five cheese combination. I think I left the smoke on it a little too long though. It was really smoky smelling.

I have not, but that sounds really good. I use 3 cheeses in mine. I was married to a Bahamian woman many moons ago and her father gave me his recipe. It's a heart attack in a dish, but man is it good. I like your idea, I may toss it in the smoker for a few minutes. How long did you leave yours inside the smoker?

I actually cooked it in the smoker. It's been a while but I think it was in there at least a few hours. I should have covered it sooner. I just left it uncovered too long.

Interesting. I am going to try par baking it in the oven and then finish it on the smoker, or perhaps I should do it the other way and finish it in the oven. Thanks for the idea!

Some of the circuit boards I need for warranty repairs have been taking 1-2 weeks instead of the normal 2 days. They ship service parts second day for free.
We’re waiting on the control board for the freezer still. At least it finally shipped! Apparently there’s a shortage of appliances right now too.

It doesn't always happen, even there - but it was the manager that handled the transaction both yesterday & today - So I Lucked Out. . . And it is one of the better thrift stores around here, usually get donations that are practically new, if not new items . . . Matter of fact, it just one of the 2 here, were all profits go towards HIV/AIDS this one is for the HIV/AIDS Heathcare Foundation (they have clinics and are an advocacy agency that provides services all over the World).

That's awesome, and warms my heart.

When we lived in Boston the wifey and I always supported a local thrift store that gave 60% of their earnings to the local HIV/AIDS organization. I use to volunteer at a place in Miami called Care Resource, helping newly diagnosed people find their way through the maze of paperwork in order to get their meds and healthcare by way of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Act. Helping those who felt helpless, and that life was over was very rewarding when you'd see them a year later living a very good life.

We had a repair guy come to fix our fridge yesterday. He got it making ice again but had to order the auger motor for the ice dispenser and while he was there asked him to check the fan motor on the back since my wife said it sometimes made a high pitched noise. I never heard it but she has better hearing than I do. Anyway, he ordered the two parts and said he should be able to come back tomorrow or Monday to finish up the repair. It was about 1/3 the price of a new one and it should be in good condition for quite a while now.

Well, you got it sorta fixed while you wait for it to be all fixed.

That's great to know - Thank you to both you & "Wifey", I'm quite sure many people appreciated your care & assistance throughout the years. BTW: Care Resources is still around (they had a close call with the government and almost was closed down a few years ago) - they even have an office/clinics here in Ft. Lauderdale too.

Personally, I've been involved with HIV/AIDS even before they knew what it was back in the mid 70's when I live in NYC. Matter of fact,, volunteered at the Gay Men's Health Clinic back then when they thought it was just a resistant strain of a STI. And later was a certified pre-post HIV/ AIDS Counselor & Educator (still am) and was also the founder & lead facilitator of a Community Bereavement Support Group that I created too. Actually, after 1986, I stopped counting all the friends/people I knew well that died (170+).

The absolutely great thing is, although a vaccine for HIV/AIDS has never been developed - nor found (it's been over 50 years and still nothing), I have a number of friends that are still around - And not just thriving, but living a very full life . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Seems that everyone's waiting for something.

Not me! I just got my package--DHL picked it up in China on Monday, on my porch today (Thursday). Must be some kind of a record. Three days door to door.

Got my Sceptre, an Innokin hat and a t-shirt. :D

My second chance to try the .5Ω coil.

They threw in a hat and shirt with your purchase? Or did you actually buy the hat and shirt as well?

I used to vape coffee mixes all the time and I burnt out on them. I used FA expresso and Cappuccino a lot but a lot of new coffee flavors have come out since then. I may try again sometime.

Me too. I used to love coffee vapes very early on in my vaping journey, but abandoned them for some reason. Hmmm--I used to mix FA Cappuccino with a hint of Espresso for more coffee flavor. Maybe I should try again. :)

I am a little nervous, my wife's mother is coming to live with us for a while. I love her as a person, but she has this nasty habit of nitpicking at my wife. Once my wife finally has had enough, her mother then acts like she's been victimized by my wife's words. Holding it over head for months. I completely stay out of it and have been telling my wife to please grab me (feigning needing to go to the store) just to vent and offload things off her chest. I just don't want her getting mad enough and saying something she can't take back.

    Oh dear... :D

Back in 2009-2010 Ruyan direct had a coffee flavored liquid that I really liked. I haven't done a lot with coffee flavors but did like Cap cup a joe in a couple mixes I've made. I have high hopes of liking the ice cream drowned recipe.

I liked a Cappuccino that V4L carried, years ago. Vey pleasant vape.
