Ah, lug nuts. They put them on with such force that you cannot get them off unless you use a 4-way lug wrench or a breaker bar. I am not small, but the last flat I had I had a 4-way wrench and had to STAND on it to break them loose. A smaller person or lady would've never got them off.

That's why I always refill it as soon as I can't see the juice when I tip the mod. The same goes for the KFL19 and KFL+, which have similar little Ultem windows.

Yesterday I was relaxing while the wifey wife went to WM. Then the phone rings. Uh-OH. "You have to come now to WalMart my car fob won't work I can't get in the car hurry I have frozen stuff!" Crap. So I get the spare fob and race to WM only to find that her daughter, on the phone, had explained to her that the fob has a key in it. She had popped it out. I went home. Grrr. Fob needs a 2032 battery. I'm kind of miffed that she's had this car for 2 years and knows nothing about it!
Amazon has the 2032 batteries, fairly inexpensive, I change them in my key fobs about once a year.

It's nice to have AAA. Don't have to carry a breaker bar in my trunk.

I always carry a 4 way lug wrench. I had AAA but didn't want to wait all night and at that time could change a truck tire. Don't think I could do it now but we have road service through USAA.

That's when it pays to be overweight. I can get the lug nuts loose if I stand on the tire iron. And, yes I've had to change my own tire before. Sometimes someone will stop and change it for me, but I can and have done it myself.

What drives me nuts is they put these stupid locking lug nuts on that take a special socket with a weird pattern in it. Do you really think someone is going to steal the wheels off of a 2013 cx9?

Steel rims ftw. Nobody’s going to bother with those.

No stinking locking nuts which can be twisted off anyway. No lousy low profile tires which ride like crap. Cheap to replace too.

Ha! My wife's son always goes with special wheels and low profile tires on his Audi - and then has to crawl over speed bumps. I want to run those guys over when I'm behind them in my 4X4 Ram!:lol::lol::thumb:

I cracked my oil pan going over a curb in my Audi that everyone else seems to handle without problems. $500, ouch! :(

I sure have nothing against Audis, I think they are beautiful cars but 1) I'll never afford one, and 2) I'll never fit in one.

Oh yes it is. I love my Triple A. They were a godsent when my kids started driving. Not only roadside assistance, like a flat tire, dead battery, towing, but if you don't want to wait for 4 hours at DMV or need to renew your passport, they do it all. I never had to wait longer than 20 minutes for their truck to show up.

Oh, I'm a woman and I know that my fob is also a key and I also know that I can buy 2032 batteries at Walmart. ;)
Amazon has the 2032 batteries, fairly inexpensive, I change them in my key fobs about once a year.

I buy mine from Amazon also--they last at least 3 years or so, and I drive every day. I wait for my car to let me know that my fob key battery is low and needs to be replaced.

Happy Tuesday, mixologists. Rain's back, after a brief respite yesterday. At least western WA is out of any fire danger. Sadly, points south still are not. :(

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

I plan on not working as hard as I did yesterday. After a long day at work and then having to go change the wife's tire, I was exhausted. Not to mention I had to skip my workout.
