Unfortunately when buying a bunch of new flavors they don’t all work for you .
Well, I was never going to know unless I tried it. I'm sure the majority of the flavors will work out ok. And the banana bread isn't horrible, just not much taste to it. I'm sure I can make it work with something.

Possibly if you let it steep? I don’t remember if you have any banana you could add.

I have TFA Banana Cream DX. I found a recipe online that looks interesting....
    • Banana Cream (TFA) - 4%

    • Vanilla Custard (TFA) - 4%

    • Biscuit (INW) - 0.75%

    • Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) - 2.5%

    • Cream Fresh (FA) - 1.5%

    • Banana Nut Bread (TFA) - 2%

I would try that but drop the Vanilla Custard to at least 2%

    Booo!

Hello Mixers. This is my Halloween flyby. I've been swamped with work recently, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. ;) Another week or so of this... Hope everyone is doing reasonably well!

    Happy Halloween!

Lose the custard and add some TFA Graham cracker.
there's already graham cracker in it ;)
went with the vanilla custard to add a bit more creaminess and vanilla is used in making real cheesecake....but I think i'll lower the % on that one next time

There’s nothing wrong with adding the biscuit but I’d get rid of the custard and go with a fruit instead.
eh trying to work on a good plain cheesecake first, then once happy with that I'll work on adding fruits :)

Thanks for the advice. I would using CAP Vanilla Custard, if that makes a difference on %.
na that doesn't matter....it's just at 4% it's going to overpower most everything else

you're going to end up with more of a banana cream then banana nut bread

something I was working on, if you want to play with
    diyfs banana nut bread 5%
    tfa banana 2.5%
    tfa banana ripe .5%
    wf walnut 2%
    tfa bavarian cream 2%
    diyfs cinnamon 1.5%
    tfa acetyl pyrazine .5%
    tfa kentucky bourbon .5%
    rf baked bread .10%

That is an interesting recipe. I have very few of those flavors, but please let me know how it turns out.

All you need for a decent cheesecake base is cheesecake/graham or NY Cheesecake, added graham and cheese.

    Somewhere between here and there
do you think it is better? I have always thought they were about the same and I had CAP

I’m just more familiar with the tfa since I’ve used it more.
