I have Gmail . Works good for me.Realised this morning I hadn't got any emails for a couple of days. I have a primary email and a second one I use for PayPal. The PP one stopped working a week ago so I moved PP onto my primary, then that one stopped working. Turned out the email handler I had been using forever went down the drain. MS Live Mail. I discovered it went out of support 3 years ago and nobody told me. The latest Win update finally killed it off. There's a fix involving adding some entries to the registry but it was time to move on. I got my email set up on Yahoo.
Consensus on the internet is to dump really old email addresses and get new ones. I've had sbcglobal addresses for a long time. Old ones like that probably get more junk messages. And the carrier could pull the plug on them at some point. It would be a right pain to track down all the people who have my old addresses and get them updated. It would be better to move to new addresses before it gets to where you have to get it done in a hurry.
I do have a gmail I set up just for ECF. For some reason that I forget ECF stopped supporting sbcglobal when they moved to the new platform a few years ago and I was cut off.
I hate it when things change.
