Hey, @stols001, Douglas was mentioned in a show I watched yesterday. Specifically, it was proposed as a good place for a criminal to disappear that also has several decent restaurants.

I would never do that and I have to help my parents. It’s not to protect me, it would be to protect them. Time is short. My Dad’s heart attack scared us. If everybody else is there, I’ll be there.
There a couple decent Mexican places, the Gadson Hotel used to have good food but they switched chefs. There is a burger king, a pizza hut, and a McDonalds. And, a Dairy queen where, memorably, my kid wanted a sundae and a little Mexican kid DARTED out across the drive through lane like EXACTLY as a black cat does in the dead of night RIGHT in front of you.
I mean I was going slow, HAPPENED to catch movement out of the corner or my eye. It was PURE luck that I could jam on my brakes. I actually was so terrified, I did not roll down the windows to scream at him in Spanglish, I mean, I was going SLOW the kid was NUTS but like, there is just never a good time to hit a child in a moving vehicle. I actually just sat there panting and shaking my head and going "What th f----- what the f---"
There is a Thai restaurant. Having seen the outside I was like, "I will never eat there." My kid made me order out and we had to go in and I was like muttering, "Please not botulism." It was literally some of the WORST food I have ever eaten in my entire life and also the woman in charge complained non stop about lack of business. It took everting in my power to say, "I get business is bad but you have to update décor and also clean out the grease traps if you want some."
My kid (as usual) would not admit his errorz and was like, "No, this is GOOD." We both ate little. I kept it to offer to the kid the next day, but he declined.
Yoga, my sis and like uh, mom have assured me it is hard to fire an ADA employee and hard to fire a unionized employee and I can tell each and every person wishing to discuss ANYTHING to get out of my face until my union rep gets there.
Yoga was helpful. It hurt but it was helpful. I figure it's gonna hurt for a week or so you don't work those kind of hours without like, IDK, messing up stuff.
I plan on not worrying, personally.
I don't know about disappearing criminals but it is easy to get to Mexico and I hear that is where the actual good food is etc.

We went to Lowe’s to get a new weather station for the kitchen since ours quit working. Afterwards we stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few items and not once but twice someone reached right next to my wife’s head to grab something off the shelf instead of asking before violating her personal space. The second time she got mad and the woman that reached around her mumbled something as she walked off. My wife immediately said the B word. I was waiting for the woman to come back and start something but she didn’t.
I hate when people do that. I am very vocal now. Since I started wearing a face shield people usually stay away from me. I'm thinking of getting a better shield at Menards. A non disposable one.
It has a digital read out that tells the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. There’s a sensor that you put outside.
Same could be said for Liberty City, Florida..... you always risked being seen in an episode of First 48 though.
