Random DIY mixing and More

Well, while I've been stocked and done buying gear for myself...I did buy some other stuff during the sales. One order I placed was from Heartland Vapes: (1) L of 100mg nic base (for DIY I make for the 2 "newbies"), (1) 4oz. TFA Bubblegum for someone I'm helping with DIY, and (48) 30mL clear glass bottles (for flavorings I've bought in larger plastic bottles). Was only $51.75 total...enough to get FREE S/H, too!

Just wanted to ask the veteran DIY'ers a simple mixing question.

I'm thinking of using 3% TFA Blueberry Wild and 2% TFA Blueberry Extra to try and get a nice Blueberry flavour going on.

Just wanted to see if the percentages were about right or not?

Not exactly what you asked but this a classic "blueberry trinity" that is popular:
The "Blueberry Trinity":
(FW) Blueberry 3-4%
(TFA) Blueberry extra 2-3%
(FA) Bilberry 0.5-1% (or replace this with (JF) Blueberry 1%)
also add a bit of Lemon

That should work for you as long as you can taste blueberry good.

Thanks for that @vaper1960, at least I seem to have the TFA Blueberry Extra about right.

As it's the first time using, it seems strong in the bottle. So I was thinking less is more.

I asked because I can't taste blueberry well at all. If you can taste it but not good enough a little FA Bilberry would help IMO.

That should work. You can add bilberry if you want to or just try it like that and go from there. Like Fran kind of mentioned, hopefully you can taste the blueberry. It's one of those elusive flavors. The FB group I'm on recommends FW blueberry and I've tried it but never quite got the blueberry where I wanted it in a recipe. Someone on this thread mentioned that they add CAP blueberry jam to their blueberry recipes and that it worked well for them.

We'll watch it soon, but I save the "gems" (in our opinion) for near or on Christmas.. such as White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, Christmas Story, Home Alone. Watched an entertaining clunker last night, Jingle All the Way. So bad, but so good. Die Hard is definitely not a clunker, and so many memorable lines.. plus Alan Rickman is always good.

And would Acai do in a pinch to enhance things if necessary with Blueberry, as I've some TFA in the stash?

Here's how TFA describes the 2:

Blueberry Extra: Sweet and fruity
Blueberry Wild: This one has a very fresh and bright true blueberry taste.

They do have different ingredients though, with 1 in the Wild being the reason it seems strong. You may want to let the ethyl alcohol evaporate off after making your mix, before you vape it. Many people find it causes some harshness if you don't.

Extra - Ingredients: Natural & Artificial Flavor, PG, Water
Wild - Ingredients: Art. Flavor, PG, Water, Ethyl Alcohol

I love my TFA Acai but I can't vape very sweet stuff.
