Those Lord of the Rings films are something I was never able to get into. And not for lack of trying either. I fully realize they are a great achievement in filmmaking, but they just aren't my type of film I guess.
I didn’t think they were my thing either but I ended up interested. Just watched the first show.

My Christmas shopping is done! And Mom’s. :)

I ended up getting my son the Kobalt tool bag with 267 tools. They no longer carried the 364 tool bag. I’m happy. Dad said he will love it.

Maybe now I can peel myself away from the internet and breathe a little. I think I bought about 63 or so gifts for both of us. Ridiculous!

I’ve been trying a sft of ssa caramel biscuit in the kroma z with the .8 coil that came pre installed and have come to the conclusion that I can definitely vape this flavor solo. Has anyone else that has one tried the other coils or the extra airflow ring that came with it?

I have the .8 coil in mine, 10w, with the airflow ring that came on it. I did change the dt to one with a more open hole.

I would say if you don’t enjoy doing it then you shouldn’t.

Yes! She knows her stuff. I also like the 10 mg. Natrol Melatonin. Years ago I tried Melatonin but it made me have disturbing dreams so I stopped taking it, but now I can take it with no weird dreams. I take either CBD or Natrol Melatonin most nights for sleep. Sometimes I will take both if needed.
I've never been one who had sleeping problems.
We had snow flurries a couple of days ago... Come on spring!

My plans are to finish shopping and work. I've bought 54 gifts for me and Mom and need 5 more. Of those 5 I know what I'm getting for 3 but I need to come up with ideas for the other 2.:eek: I plan on finishing this madness TODAY.

I'm retiring from my job of Secret Santa as of 2020. I will no longer shop for my Mom, especially for the family I don't even really like. The fat lady is singing. I QUIT! It's ridiculous at this point. And I've considered now for many years for my son and I to take a trip for Christmas. Get the hell out of dodge for a few days and not buy gifts at all. Just buy an experience instead.

The IT guy helped me yesterday and we figured out the camera on the computer they loaned me for zoom meetings is not working. YAY! So they can't see me and I can wear PJs and not even brush my hair if I don't want to during zoom meetings. :thumb:
I think the whole Christmas gift thing has gotten way out of control, and (no offense) your story epitomizes it. 54! No way I could manage that. Yup, head off for a few days instead.
And just be careful of your computer settings while in your PJs during your Zoom sessions in case the camera decides to wake up.

What percentage of flavoring are you using for the caramel biscuit?

I’m just helping my Mom. She’s too old to do it like she used to. And her back is out. And Covid. She has never been on the internet and never will. I love giving. I don’t mind ordering for her. But I do not like thinking about what people would like times 3 or 4 gifts each. Mom has done all this for years for her babies. But the last few years it has fallen on my shoulders as I’m just trying to help out and make her life better. My parents are in their mid eighties...it’s time to let this go but it’s hard for her. It’s not about me really. I have to do lots of things I don’t enjoy...

It ain’t easy but I’m good at it and I’m doing it for Mom. She has lots of babies she wants to give to. Just trying to help her. Right now I have to be there for my parents. They are not long on this earth. I’ll take trips one day. I’m one of those people who still works a full time job, single Mom-ing it, with an old cat, and elderly parents. It ain’t easy and I have a lot on my plate and I can’t just jump in the car and go.

You are a very good daughter to do so much for your parents even though it’s hard on you. Good luck:)

My only plan is to make it through another day of work. I went to the chiropractor because I was having pain in my foot and it felt like a bone was out of place or something. It's feeling better already but she did a full adjustment and my lower back was killing me all day yesterday. No matter what OTC medicine I took, it wouldn't relieve the pain. It's better today and I put some aspercreme on it this morning. I'm having a rough week so far and very much wish it was Friday already.

So sorry you are hurting! I know that when you have a chiropractic adjustment, your muscles sometimes try to revert to how they were before the adjustment — this is referred to as muscle memory and they can undo what the chiropractor did. I would wait until tomorrow and if you are still in bad shape, go back to the chiropracter. I also recommend ice packs. When my back is bad I lay on ice packs for 45 minutes and it really helps a lot. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I admit to loving Christmas. However, there are way too many folks in this family to buy for. I live with my younger daughter so my gifts are centered around this part of the family. Older dd included also. Older son and wife get an Amazon card. No gift exchange with the younger son. We draw names for the young ones but the list doesn't include many.

In my family we only buy for our mom, daughter and for the one young child. When our kids were younger there were a whole lot more gifts to buy!

For the second year in a row, everyone is getting handcrafted Christmas presents. Last year, it was paint by number paintings. I brought all the paintings I had done, and everyone chose one to be framed. This year I'm giving everyone a diamond art painting framed ring a hanging frame. I don't know about next year's craft. Anybody got any ideas?
