I am guessing you could do it both ways, IDK. I mean folks test out odd mixes without nicotine but then the nicotine is going to change things if only slightly.

I would again (and I am guessing here, I tend to just use base if I am mixing it's easier) you might have more of a nicotine "taste" if your nic even has one IDK. I think you'd have to experiment because I really don't know.

I bet someone here will know, though.

Today I started going threw my save recipes, trying to find any that had the FA Custard Premium, and I did not find much, but I did find this one. I had all the flavors, so I just mixed it. It was posted by notsomini a longtime ago, said to steep for 3 days, I think I will give it longer though. Seems like a good one to try for the holidays.

1% FLV Cream
2% FA Custard Premium
3% FLV Egg Nog

I am of the same mind as Fran with everything melds together best, including nic, during the steeping process.

I steep with nic already in whatever needs steeping. For me if I make something, recipe or SFT, minus nic it does not taste like it does with nic.

I've never added the nic to a recipe after it's been steeped.

No nic is boring, but; I’m trying to get used it, given the circumstances, just in case, etc., etc.. I have a goodly supply, but you never know. And if I could get down to vaping Zero nic, I’d do it. All my flavored vapes are pretty low nic, as it is, now.

I have experiment with that and it felt like the juice with nic steeped faster than the one without nic in it...
But I can't be sure cause maybe it's just because the taste of the one with the nic make it feel more steeped....maybe it was in my head...but since then I always steep with nic

I'm always in some kind of trouble, somewhere. Trouble became my middle name from about 4 on.

I only vape 6mg and I'm 73 so I'm not worried about running out of nic. I can however understand how those that are younger could be worried.

Also 6mg but do have a flavorless with higher nic for a quick morning drip. 6mg rest of day. Soon to be 61 but I won't run out of nic either.

Also mixed some more LB White chocolate peppermint (I like to vape that after dinner)

I have nothing planned for today, which is a good thing because I woke up to find a couple of inches of snow. My jeep can handle it but I don't trust the other drivers on the road. I will continue to do my searching for a design of cat tree I like so I can make one for my kitten.

I lived in the mountains for almost 12 years (5000 ft) I had my game on with the snow (4wheel drive, snow tires and even still carried chains) Lots of tourists (near Yosemite) and they are idiots! Yes, doesn't matter if you have your act together... those idiots were all over the road (and then finally chaining up in the middle of the highway) And then there is ice (worse than snow)

I am lucky, I do all the cooking around here and just got a Le Creuset stoneware 3 1/2qt bowl from amazon. It is sweet! Can't wait to make scalloped potatoes in it!

Thanks to all of you for your input on steeping without nicotine. I put it that way so if someone does a search for the same thing hopefully this link will come up. I believe I will have enough nicotine to last me my lifetime. However, I just hate wasting nicotine and it might be the only nest egg I can leave for my daughter. I will do my steeping with the nicotine in it and I'll just make smaller batches for flavor tasting. Then I can make a bigger batch later. Stay safe and well.
