    Good review as always.

Thank you. I feel fortunate that these companies have contacted me to do reviews. Trying new gear is part of what keeps me off the smokes. Over 11 years ago I took my first vape and I struggled for a long time. Mixing and trying new gear has turned into a hobby and keeps my mind busy. I also use snus for the minor alkaloids that nic liquid doesn’t have which I figured out long ago that I need in order to function.

Amazon Prime was handy this year. Not only do I buy stuff for us, but I've been buying my parent's personal hygiene stuff and things they need since they don't get out much due to covid. The only reason I have it is because we shop there a lot, and we get half price since my son is a student and it's in his name. My Mom loves the fact I buy their stuff in bulk so they don't have to worry about it all the time. I don't see that changing and I'll probably be purchasing their stuff from now on and I don't mind.

I'm just working today. So tired of this week and ready for the weekend. Although I'll be wrapping gifts again this weekend. I'm waiting on one more gift for Mom for my nephew and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. We'll see, shipping is slow. I read an article about the USPS hub here in the major city saying they are behind.

We have U-Verse and it's all way too expensive. I have never had Netflix and all that other stuff. I am not a big movie watcher, I just love my ID channel (crazy people!) and HGTV and cooking channels. One day I'll research to see if there is a better way but right now I don't have time.

We had Uverse for years. Went to Sling because Uverse was so expensive. I do miss it though. Uverse has a really good channel guide. The Sling guide is hokey in comparison. And they just screwed with it. A couple of months back they disabled previous channel during commercials so you couldn't skip the ads. This week they changed the format and previous channel has gone completely. You can still go back to the guide and scroll to another channel but that can be a pain. And the channels don't have numbers, just the channel logo which is hard to identify without getting up close to the TV.

I heard Uverse were losing so many customers that they are thinking about changing their prices.

    Morning, agitators ;)

More rain, still warm. Too warm for mid December....

Yes, IF one lives relatively near the broadcast towers an HDTV antenna may be a good option. Here, well, the spendy 85 mile range ones get us a whopping 1 (one) channel... so satellite and streaming are our only options. Not quite willing to go with installing an outdoor one (even more spendy and a hassle!) to find it doesn't work either...

It is good to have a hobby you enjoy. Especially if the hobby is beneficial for your health (like vaping vs smoking). I don't really have much interest in trying a bunch of devices, even though there are a lot of really cool ones out there. I think my hobby is going to be more on the DIY side of things. I enjoy the trial and error of finding good flavor combinations.

I have nice purple Provari mini. Really old. It has a dodgy fire button, every once in a while it sticks and won't pop back out when I take my finger off it. I did figure out a solution. Spray the hell out of it with electronic contact cleaner. Let it dry overnight and it works again. It stuck this morning so I moved the KFL to a blue full size Provari that I keep out but haven't used for a while. That one seems to be completely dead. Annoying start to the vape day. I'll spray them both down later and keep my fingers crossed. Or maybe I should panic and buy a bunch more mods.

I live in a low spot, the ground rises in every direction and lots of trees all around. I can get half a dozen local channels with an indoor antenna on a good day. People a mile away up the hill can get dozens. Thought about an outdoor antenna but had the same concerns as you.

    Morning all you mixers,

Been up over 4 1/2 hrs already as I got up at 3am. No reason, that's when I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. Been doing kitchen stuff and playing Valhalla. My friend's birthday is 12/24 and I'm going to buy him Valhalla.

Morning. I stayed up pretty much all night getting some work done. So today I will probably do very little that involves any complicated mental work. I'll go for a run in a bit and also going to try another SFT I made a couple of weeks ago. I think I will either try WF Cobbler or the Flapper Pie today.

    What about you?
IDK yet. Been a busy morning here. Gd showed up so having her mail my pkg. Also, send my mail out and do banking for me.

The problem with me is I don't understand all these things...and I don't have the patience or time to learn (right now). My son's gaming lags using U-Verse and I hear about it all the time. A Charter Spectrum guy came by a few weeks ago and it piqued my interest. But he was annoying and kept coming by until I finally told him to leave me alone...I'll call you and you don't have to call me. My Mom's Spectrum is still expensive (unlike what he told me) and hers goes out constantly. They would also have to dig up my yard. I don't like change. It's all so confusing. So I sit here and pay out the nose for U-Verse and I've learned to close my ears when son starts up. I'm happy. He can get whatever he wants when he moves out and pays for it. :sneaky: There is more to life than gaming...:vapor:
