I’m starting to get that feeling of dread about going back to work after being off so long. It’s always a big mess when I go back since no one does my work while I’m gone. I just have to remember that I really only took five vacation days even though I was off eleven. I know from past experiences that I’ll spend at least half of the day tomorrow just trying to put out fires. I keep telling myself that I’m not going to get mad but know it’s very likely.

I'm with you Bro', Think I'll start by cleaning out the pumps the hospital clogs with the crap they flush. Be nice to get a vaccine some day.:(

The city of Keene which is about 10 minutes away has terrible chlorine treatment water. Here Dd has her own artesian well.

You are lucky, we get surface water treatment from the lower Susquehanna , but you do know when the Hickory Shad are running in the spring.:)

Good morning Fran. Wife is off today and we may hit up our favorite breakfast joint. If anyone ever hears of bacon jelly I advise you to give it a try. I am addicted.

    What are your plans Fran?
Plans? Not many right now. I have a recipe to post. Have to find a gift for my impossible to buy for older daughter who has a birthday this week.

    Good morning :)
My battlestation is getting closer to completion and being fully operational. I have my pieces stained to the colors I want, have waxed my leg frames and now about to wax my planks. Then tonight it's assembly time, at least starting with gluing planks to the frames.

I've been at work over two hours and still going through tickets and paperwork from when I was gone. I am happy to report though that there hasn't been anything yet to upset me or get me angry like there usually is when I return from a vacation. There were a couple things that should have been handled while I was gone but not enough to make me mad.

    That’s a plus.

    Morning, mixers.

    Rain. Rinse. Repeat.

I run tap water through a Multipure water filter. After passing through the pre-filter, water passes through the solid carbon block, where particles as small as 0.5 microns are physically trapped by the filter. I've had mine since 1994. It's the best water I've ever had. I fill the cat and dog water bowls with it too. This is the newer version Under Sink Water Filter - Aquaversa | Multipure . They have other options. The Performance Data PDF on that page tells you all the crap that's filtered out.

We've had one of these under the kitchen sink for many years: Under Counter Water Filters, under sink filter (the 3 stage one near the bottom.) The carbon block filter lasts us a couple years, the others more like twice that. Having a filtered water tap is nice :)

I did manage to get a liter of mixing base stirred up yesterday, was down to only about 50mls, so needed that for any imminent mixing session. And dishes, laundry, bedding...
