My battlestation is getting closer to completion and being fully operational. I have my pieces stained to the colors I want, have waxed my leg frames and now about to wax my planks. Then tonight it's assembly time, at least starting with gluing planks to the frames.

I also feel like a kid on Christmas.
Never made a desk but I've made quite a few pieces of furniture. The problem I always had was getting all the legs to touch the floor at the same time. And that was with just four legs. Classy piece of work, I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.

Good afternoon Mixers. 
Ran a bunch of errands today. Hit the post office to get some stamps, dropped off some mail and shipped out a package.
It was in the teens this morning, 27 out now. Not bad at all. And the best part, we got about 8 inches of snow over the last few days. I love it! The city workers who plow our streets get right down to the pavement and lay down salt brine (mix of rock salt and water). It's very effective.
Checked my bank and the stimulus money was deposited overnight. Yahoo! I transferred it to the savings account.

I expect I'll get a check in the mail, just like last time. It came pretty quickly though. I had tried entering my direct deposit the first time, but the check had already been sent. Now the site is too busy to get into.
The more you check, the more the package gremlins slow it down. They keep tabs on us.Whaaaa? You mean checking every 10- er, 5 seconds isn't good?

Our Kai used to give us that same look... right after scarfing down my sub sandwich.
Cleaned tanks and changed coils on my devices.

She IS the sweetest thing - and then will turn into a 12lb attack dog if someone comes around.
