I’m not sure that falls into my first love in movies, blood and guts. I also really like the Fast and Furious movies and I like westerns. Not sure that I would like quirky.
Yeah, from what you have shared about your viewing habits, I'm thinking Umbrella Academy might not be your cup of tea.

Oh Well . . . (Insert Shrug Emoji Here)

AND - BTW: Fixed last post it wasn't rebbird11 - but hittman that didn't answer your question which allowed "Me" to provide an answer . . . "My" BAD . . .

I thought she was asking about cobra Kai and redbird had already answered. God forbid I miss a post. I do most of my posting on my phone on Tapatalk and don’t pay much attention to notifications in the app. I try to stay current on this thread but sometimes miss one or two.

If you a bit nerdy and into a frankenstein of a show made up with parts of action, comedy and drama i suggest the tv series Chuck.
That is by far one of my favorite series, probably watched each season more than 20 times, and also the soundtrack is pretty good.

About that one.....I did watch Karate Kid years ago. Not my #1 choice but I did find it amusing at the time. I may actually try the cobra Kai at some point. The same for Umbella Academy if I get curious enough.

Chuck was awesome. Very unique show. I could probably watch that again.

NOPE - NA DA - NOT Happening . . . Really hate "Slasher" movies (Friday 13th, etc.), I prefer suspense and the original type of Horror movies like "Rosemary's Baby" and "Exorcist" and "The THING from Outer Space" - maybe a Vampire movie or 2 . . . AND - Even though, I watched "Alien" & "Silence of the Lambs", etc. just wouldn't watch them again . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I patiently await for your ''better than the shining'' choice of horror movie.

Oh I have no idea. I would just bet out of the thousands of horror movies out there, one is probably better than the Shining.

Mother doesn't let me watch scary movies. She says it could damage my fragile psych.

    SInce you din't get an answer from @hittman . . .

"The Umbrella Academy" . . . Is a slightly different type of series similar to "Stranger Things", but much better . . . It is base upon a comic book about a group of different Children from around the world adopted by a quirky Scientist (English Type who carries an umbrella) that brings them all together to live and study in "The Umbrella Academy" . . . It starts when all the children - years after they all went their separate ways & living very different lives - return home after their "Father" has died . . . Each child is very "Special" and they have some extraordinary talents and abilities . . . There is a huge "Family" secret that they eventually uncovered, especially when they regress to past memories and even the "future" . . . Very Interesting and Captivating Series . . . A must watch for those who are into Science Fiction and/or something "Quirky" (Think "DeadPool") . . . :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

This is right up my alley.

    Kudos my friend.
Was already making a mental list of like 40 or 50 movies thinking you would mention one of them,or maybe make a comeback but i wasn't expecting a response like the one i just got.
