I do love horror stories but they don't love me. I try to avoid them because I have vivid nightmares. Most of the nightmares reveal I am the evil one. :) So I avoid these because its breathtaking at times. I do make exception at times. I don't think the Shining and the remake of the shining is scary at all. I read the book and was not really impressed.
A fun but predictable comedy horror to watch is "Freaky". It's not a block buster but its a watch!

Freaky does look good.

OK folks, I require your expert knowledge of mixing. How strong is the FA White Peach flavor? I am going to make another batch of WF Peach Gummy Candy, and thought about adding the White Peach to it at about 1%. I do not want it to overpower the Peach Gummy, which will probably be around 3.5%. I just kind of want it as a background note. But having never used white peach, I was unsure how overpowering the flavor would be. As always, your help and advice is appreciated.

FA White Peach is strong. It is one of FlavourArt's more highly concentrated flavors. It's one of my favorites. And it is very accurate when compared to eating a white peach (I originally tested it that way ).

I would start with 0.5% and go from there. That way you can add more if you think it needs more. FA White Peach doesn't need a long steep. Some SnV with it.

I mixed some SFTs I had (RF French toast 3 parts, CAP Cinnamon danish swirl 1 part, and PUR Boysenberry preserves 3 parts) I will be mixing a recipe of this soon. After trying it, put a few drops of VT Vanilla cream in... mistake (just covered up the berry flavor)

@Redbird11 once you get it mixed... if you are looking to add some mild sweetness then add 0.25% - 0.5% FA Pear. At those %'s you won't even taste the pear.

FA Pear is great for adding "some" sweetness to "just about" any mix. As it steeps it also adds a little creaminess.

I’m sure during the intriguing discussion on scary movies, you were all wondering if I was able to get the spark plugs changed or not on my daughter’s car. Holy cow those boots were tight. Two of the four I didn’t know if I was going to get them off or not. It was a struggle but I was able to change them but not without losing a little blood. Once I got the first one off and grabbed a new plug, I realized that the auto parts store gave me the wrong ones. They were almost twice as long and not as big in diameter. So I took them back and got the right ones and finished the job.

I was wondering. Bet you're glad it's done.

Yes I am. The ignition coil or whatever you call it on each one is several inches long. If they weren’t so hard to get off then it would have been a ten minute job.

Ugh, Frannie just pronounced Orono "ah-RON-oh" in The Stand. For crying out loud, it's Stephen King's alma mater. Couldn't his son (one of the producers) have done him the courtesy of insisting she say it right? For shame.

    (FYI, it's "OR-uh-noh.")

I actually ended up mixing some a few hours ago. 3% Peach Gummy, 0.5% White Peach, and 0.75% FA Pear. I've used the FA Pear a few times before and really like it for adding sweetness and juiciness to a mix.

    Yep,totally agree.

The Bachman Books? totally a must read for everyone, specially the long walk and the running man.
Schwarzenegger's version of the running man? total disgrace...i hated it.

And i am a HUGE Stephen King fan, just so you get an idea of how much of a fan i am let me tell you this.
Friends insisted i go with them to do Route 66,none of them did it before ( i had 2 times already) and they wanted me and my English speaking skills (none of them spoke a lick of English).
So i kinda had them in the grasp of my hand to ask for what i wanted,well...i told them i would go only and if only we rented out a 1958 Plymouth Fury to do the trip.

Lo and behold they agreed so my 3rd Route 66 trip was done with that marvelous...beautiful...spectacular vehicle ;)
