I’ve heard good things about temco but don’t know if they sell specialty wire. I know they carry kanthal, ni, and ss round wire.
Temco is an actual American foundry so they are a manufacturer. Actual Kanthal is a Sandvik product which has allowed Temco to manufacture. Long ago, maybe 5 years they created a company called Vapowire to sell directly to the vape market, but that's gone now I believe.

I'm doing the pre employment for a job right now. I will know officially if I got the job by Tuesday. I did get a contract letter on wages etc. It's third shift so I'll probably become a massive coffee drinker.

Thanks! I'll check out wireoptim soon. I'm going over to vapordna they have a MLK sale going on that I want to check out.
    Good luck.

Anyone ever just feel like throwing an apple laptop through a window? Smash it with a sledge hammer? No? Just me?

Plans? Winterization of doors and windows, and continuing with studying practically any chance I get. I'm thinking about forking over $11k cash or getting a loan to go through a code boot camp offered through the state university.
so @barkfunklerbunk what's going on with your laptop?

    Good evening, ladies and gentlemen,

It was a question of wire (no, I’m no pro), I can not see any better choice than TemCo, American made and in terms of price they are competitive against china wire. For all I know, it may be that Kidney Puncher & Buddha Wire maintain the same high quality, but in terms of price, there is not much that matches TemCo.
At least it's TemCo I'm going to order.

I bought 3 new attys today, got a pair of Dinner Lady juice to try out, and a pack of atty stands came from Fasttech.

so @barkfunklerbunk what's going on with your laptop?
I get really frustrated with dealing with my wife's macbook and macOS' filesystem/file management. It seems I've got to do detective work every once in a while to hunt down missing files(photos) that suddenly appear missing. It's a massive waste of time and frustrating. It's not even close to being as easy and intuitive as Windows, or maybe even Linux too. When I load photos into a folder on Windows, it stays there.. but you import photos to your Photo app on macOS, at least in my experience, who knows if they will stay there? Maybe one day you power it on, and 50% of the photos are gone. Times like that I want to throw her macbook through a window and on to the street to be run over by a dump truck. But I want to get myself a NAS, and have my own personal cloud to back up data from our devices where our files will be indisturbed unless I personally disturb them.

So where are they going? To the iCloud? I’m not an experienced mac user. My kids grew up using them in school and both still have one. I bought one for my wife a couple years ago. She’s not an experienced user either and doesn’t use it that much. I’ve thought about getting one myself just to learn the operating system.

I don't have a lot of experience with Apple products. I tend to stick with what I know. Windows might have its issues, but at least I'm used to it.

Me too. My first computer ran on windows 95 and I would still do some stuff in Dos. I’ve used windows since but thought it might be good to learn the Mac. I could use my wife’s but I don’t like sharing computers. Not sure why since we share a desktop but don’t want to share a laptop.

No. I have no plans. And I am pretty happy about it.

    How about you?
Dd going to a couple good will and savers stores. Think I’m going to go also. I was going to mix both no big hurry.

I know what Goodwill is, but not sure I've ever heard of Savers Store. Is that like a Dollar Store?

No, we don't use the iCloud. Most of the photos are getting buried within the file system, and not in a pictures or photos folder. But from what I gather, macOS saves your entire photo library as one file rather than individual photos in a pictures folder. I might have to do some messing around later. Might be that the correct photo library file wasn't loading. Just seems to me for something that is a premium price it should be a flawless and intuitive system, and shouldn't require detective work. I've never run into any of these kinds of problems with Windows, which is the OS, and its many iterations, I'm most familiar with and have been using my entire life. I have about 18 terabytes of data on my Windows/Linux PC, I'd be going absolutely insane and probably committed to an insane asylum if 50% of my data went missing.

That’s strange. I’ve never heard any complaints from the kids about that but don’t know how much they do with pictures on theirs. I don’t have near the storage you do but have two external hard drives on our desktop. One for pictures since I discovered when I replaced the last one that my wife had about 250gb of pictures on the old hard drive. I bought a 2tb for pictures and explained to her that they needed to be saved there since it was slowing down the computer before. I bought a second one for backing up.

Anyone have much experience with WF Fluffy White Cake? I'm vaping a SFT of it right now and think it's pretty good. Good flavor, but not too overpowering.

I used it once or twice in recipes and liked it. I’d have to look at my notes but think I did a sft with it too.

Hope it's OK if I ask a non-vape question here. This is my only social media place.

I'm looking for office chairs. Been getting the same ones for me and the wife for years. They're comfortable and fairly cheap. But they don't last too long and the faux leather covering disintegrates. Every time I stand up I have to brush little pieces of black plastic off my .....

We need new ones now and I was thinking of going upmarket a bit. Maybe real leather would last longer and the mechanical parts wouldn't break so quickly. Maybe some more adjustments. Any suggestions for good office chairs?

Actually this would be the chair I sit on when I mix juice or rewick so really it is vape related.
