I mix a large amount of “base” , which is pg/vg and nic. When I mix I add my flavors and then fill with my “base”. Easy
I might start doing this. Seems easier than dragging out the huge container of VG every time.

Morning, all.

Still haven't seen the snow they've been babbling about. Do I miss it? Nope. :)

Got a question for you DIY experts:
I usually mix my base, flavours and nic at the same time/same session, then leave it to steep. I'm mainly a desert/custard vaper.

Would I still get a steeping benefit if I mixed VG,PG and flavours a few weeks earlier and then thawed my nic later and added it when needed, or is steeping best done with the nic mixed in?

TIA :thumb:

Yes, you will still get the same result steeping without nic.

But I don't. Like others, I premix my "base" stock, at just over the nic and VG % that I target. Makes mixing a breeze, add flavors, top with base, done. Since most flavors are in PG, they bring the nic and the VG down. The 100 mg nic only comes out of the freezer to make a jug of the mixing base. (I keep my PG and VG in the famous "cool and dark" place, don't get them in sizes that need super long storage.)

I decided to cancel my covid vaccination. It would be unethical for me to get it before my parents and other elderly people. I am young and healthy. I will wait my turn. My coworker's son is a nurse and he's 23 years old. He got very sick from the vaccine and him and other insiders are hearing and seeing things. Like some people in the ICU after the vaccine and other bad cases. Him and his colleagues are not even going to get the second dose. I'll wait for more data. My son is adamantly opposed to getting it. My Dad is all for getting it as he was in the Navy and got vaccinations regularly for traveling to foreign countries. Mom and I are leery. But until our state gets their crap together and lets the higher risk groups get it first, I'm out.

why not just add it all at once?
I spose the reason I asked is that I don't like handling my 100mg nic. I use gloves/mask (even a raincoat!) . I'd probably enjoy experimenting with more recpies if I had to handle it less.

Definitely gonna try this.

Thanks to all for the feedback.

I don't blame you. I'm a little unsure of it myself. I think my wife would want to get it. I'm a little more skeptical of medications and such than she is.

I'm an advocate for people to get vaccinated, especially children and Seniors. Over the years, I've gotten every one that has been available and suggested for seniors, especially after doing my own research on there effectiveness. AND - Even though I qualify and am being encouraged by my dr's I am quite hesitant. However, by the time they get to me, should know how effective it is going to be.

Anyway - Lab people were an hour late, came and went within 5 mins - Should have results within 24 hours - "We'll" see . . .

    Good afternoon D-I-Y'ers! :D

Yay, we got about 8-9 inches of snow including lake effect snowfall. Dog and I had much fun playing in it earlier. Got all the snow blowing done already. Streets are very nicely plowed down to the concrete. It looks really pretty.

not my GSD, but mine does love making a mess of it

Hope you Easterner's are ready. This was a long duration snowfall, here.
