It's way easier. I especially like it because I use such potent nicotine that measuring out the amount necessary for, say, 15mls is nerve-wracking. Its only drawback is that the final proportion of nic, VG, and PG will vary somewhat depending on the recipe, something that doesn't bother me but could annoy someone more sensitive.I might start doing this. Seems easier than dragging out the huge container of VG every time.
Weather say a mere 3-4 inches here tonight.Good afternoon D-I-Y'ers!
Yay, we got about 8-9 inches of snow including lake effect snowfall. Dog and I had much fun playing in it earlier. Got all the snow blowing done already. Streets are very nicely plowed down to the concrete. It looks really pretty.

not my GSD, but mine does love making a mess of it
Hope you Easterner's are ready. This was a long duration snowfall, here.
Thank you much.I like that bird.
You should definitely switch to mixing up base, then, buckeroo.I spose the reason I asked is that I don't like handling my 100mg nic. I use gloves/mask (even a raincoat!) . I'd probably enjoy experimenting with more recpies if I had to handle it less.
Definitely gonna try this.
Thanks to all for the feedback.

I don't use gloves or anything with my 100mg nic. Every now and then a little nic has gotten on my hands, no biggie, nothing happened. I also premix base.I spose the reason I asked is that I don't like handling my 100mg nic. I use gloves/mask (even a raincoat!) . I decided to cancel my covid vaccination. It would be unethical for me to get it before my parents and other elderly people. I am young and healthy. I will wait my turn. My coworker's son is a nurse and he's 23 years old. He got very sick from the vaccine and him and other insiders are hearing and seeing things. Like some people in the ICU after the vaccine and other bad cases. Him and his colleagues are not even going to get the second dose. I'll wait for more data. My son is adamantly opposed to getting it. My Dad is all for getting it as he was in the Navy and got vaccinations regularly for traveling to foreign countries. Mom and I are leery. But until our state gets their crap together and lets the higher risk groups get it first, I'm out.

In the beginning of my mixing I too was afraid of the nic and took extreme precautions. So I mixed up 50/50 VG to my 100 mg/ml nic to make it 50 mg/ml and I was less afraid of handling it. I still have some 50% bottles in my freezer. I no longer do that and 100 mg/ml nic doesn't scare me now. I don't mix base as my flavor percentages are all over the place and I'm a stickler for keeping my mixes to 1.5 mg. I've worked too hard to get it down from 24 mg to 1.5. I also bought enough nic for 2 mg and I don't want it to vary too much as I don't want to run out of nic.I spose the reason I asked is that I don't like handling my 100mg nic. That's good to know. I did read that younger people will have more vaccine symptoms since their immune systems are more robust. I'm still waffling and I haven't cancelled my appointment yet as I've been working like a dog all day. On one hand, I can be the crash test dummy to show my family it's no big deal. On the other hand, who knows. Also, since I care for my parents, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for me to be protected somewhat to lessen their chance of getting it. There are just so many unknowns. I'm giving myself until tomorrow to officially make up my mind...but I'm leaning towards cancelling. Our state is handling it poorly and Alabama got the least amount of vaccine as well. If my parents got it today, I was for sure getting it Sunday. But now I don't know.I got all the symptoms after my first shot but nothing severe. Got the shot Mon morning. Monday and Tuesday my shoulder hurt. Mon evening headache. Tue and Wed a sore throat. Wed and Thurs runny nose. Felt stuffy like with a cold all week. Now I'm over a week in and no problems at all. I heard that puts me at 50% protection and less serious outcome if I catch it.
They say the second shot is worse.
What I experienced seems to be pretty common. Some people get no reaction at all. My daughter had it a bit worse than me. I haven't heard about anyone having severe reactions, except for rumor type reports on the internet which I don't give much credence to. My State is handling the process really well.

I've been mixing with nic for nearly 5 years (still using some of my 2016 MFS vintage - clear as crystal) but still take the precautions. In the past when I've spilt a bit of 100mg on my arm I got a reaction. So I guess I'm sensitive. In the beginning of my mixing I too was afraid of the nic and took extreme precautions.

You will love having your base already mixed. It makes mixing so much easier.I've been mixing with nic for nearly 5 years (still using some of my 2016 MFS vintage - clear as crystal) but still take the precautions. Sounds like the plan for sure.
