On a brighter note, my order from Nom Nomz in the UK is out for delivery today. So far, I'm impressed. Cheaper shipping than Chefs and this will be the fastest I've ever gotten an order from the UK. Shipped on the 29th and delivered on the 4th. My last chefs order took a little over a month. Not to mention I got a tracking number which I usually never get from chefs.

    Morning random folk.

Rain is not random. But, hey, we don't have to shovel it, and don't live in a flood zone, so we'll take it :)

Well my BP readings have not been good all day including just now. I woke up, took a reading and it was 136/80 after sleeping! Mostly running around 157/97 but I have the Dr appt today so we'll see what happens. She may send me to a ER again IDK.

Having gone through similar a few years back, I suspect tuning the BP meds is in order. Not much more an ER can do other than re-hydrate you, unless systolic goes over 200, is what I was told at that time. Over that, or the diastolic being above some value I forgot, and they can come in with some other stuff. Each change of meds my doc gave, I'd track my BP (twice daily) for a week, then email him with that info. He'd adjust the amount, or switch to a different med, or a mix of two. One worked really well on the high number (systolic) but crashed the low. Yeah, too low is a very bad thing, faster way to go than too high! And yeah, none of the meds work like a light switch, then can take a few days to settle in.

Got my latest BCF order yesterday, ordered, uh, Monday? Some just to replenish stock of favs, but a few new for fun. Those are: TFA Cherry Extract, Cap Cinnamon Danish Swirl, Cap Cup-a-Joe (well, after all the raves I just have to try that!) FA Apple Pie, FA White Peach and Fresh Cream (lots of others of both, but, well...;) ), and FA Pear. I restocked TFA Pear, figured I'd compare those. (Eventually!) And restocked TFA French Vanilla Creme and FW Maraschino Cherry.

    Careful if you go for a covid shot at one of those pop-ups, never know.... ;}

Just as an FYI & to commiserate . . . Besides all the other meds (26 in all) I take for my ailments - I specifically take 3 different Meds, 3 different times a day to maintain my BP at a somewhat normal level ever since my Quintuple Bypass (February 9th 2016 - 5 years ago after being "hidden" for over 20 years) & then had an Afib almost a year later to the date (January 31, 2017 ) . . . SO - Fluctuating BP, be it extremely high or low, is not something to ignore for anyone (especially Woman) . . . HEART DISEASE KILLS . . . .Just Sayin' . . .

Matter of fact, the month of February is Heart Health Month and tomorrow is:

    I got that too .
Me three. I think you’re right,Hitt. They’ve been kind of cavalier about “it’s food flavors” so we’ll be fine. The one shots can’t be dressed up as candy/baking ingredients. What I don’t understand is how PayPal can deny it for UK residents who don’t have the same restrictions we’re facing. It’s a one/two punch when you add the issues brexit brought to EU customers.

I plan to make this too but only have CAP Vanilla Cupcake. I wonder if anyone knows if there is much difference between the two.

I have not tried the CAP vanilla cupcake. I have read that a lot of people think it is the better version though. So I assume it may be just as good... Compare the notes on mixing percentages of both to see if you need to go higher or lower. In the notes on ELR I mean. Also, I vaguely remember someone commented in the comments on the recipe on ATP about using the CAP version.

I got an email from Chefs this morning that Paypal suspended them. They are trying to argue it since they don't sell any vaping stuff but I'm not very hopeful for them. After all, with as many one shots as they sell, how do you argue that you aren't selling vaping supplies?

Oh no... I wanted to order another 200 mls of custard premium.

I wondered the same thing. Evidently Paypal has a bug up their but worldwide. I don't know if you are aware but I sell old stock stuff for my company on Ebay as a sideline thing and Ebay has kind of cut paypal out. I had to submit information to Ebay to verify our bank account and now payments go through ebay and the money goes directly into our account when we sell something and no longer goes through paypal. I guess they are still getting a cut from the buyer but not from the seller. You would think they would want to keep every customer that they could with losing a good amount of money from ebay.

You can still order it from them. You just have to use a credit card instead of paypal.

I just placed an order, thanks. I would have went with NomNomz but they were out of 100ml sizes, plus I had a 20% off coupon with Chefs.

This whole regulation thing is getting on my nerves a tad.. I feel bad for people who are not as connected as we are.

Good morning, all. I'm so far behind I don't know if I'll get caught up. I got vape mail today. I received a package from Health Cabin that I had ordered on 1/14. Not any flavors although I should make a flavor order to get some more flavors before the postal restrictions take effect. The package I received today was 3 more of the Innokin Ares 2 LE tanks to add to my stash drawer and 6 replacement glass for the Ares 2 tanks. I have one tank that I broke the glass in and I've been using a smoke glass that was the spare in the box for the Ares. I'll swap it out when I refill the tank in a little bit.
I have no plans for today. Spending the last two days at the farm has my body aching all over and my knees and back screaming. It looks like a day to stay inside, take my pills to try to ease the pain. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

The reason I went with NomNomz is when I ran the same order through chefs the shipping was 15 euros and it was only 9 through NN. That comes out to about an eight dollar difference just for shipping. Heck, my order was only going to be about $20.

The cost of the product is a bit more. I put 7 of the 30ml bottles (out of 100ml size) in my cart at NomNomz and it came to $31.50 pounds, where as over at Chefs it was a little over 18 pounds and 14 pounds with my discount code.

She may want to change your bp meds.

I am taking 3 new meds I got from the last hospital visit, so you're right she may adjust/change them because this isn't working.

Having gone through similar a few years back, I suspect tuning the BP meds is in order. Not much more an ER can do other than re-hydrate you, unless systolic goes over 200, is what I was told at that time. I hear you, I've had my BP go to 80/40 once during a liver biopsy. Everyone got concerned, but then it stabilized and started back up. :) I do not tkae readings twice a day, more like 20 times a day.
