That is exactly what I hoped they'd say. What a good company.I finally got a response from BCF, here is what they said.
I am sorry for my delayed response regarding this issue. We thank you for the honesty, and you can keep the replacement, no charge. We believe it's not fair to you or your fault the post office didn't deliver it initially. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope you have a great day.
