I made my lazy .... go down and workout tonight. Sitting in a chair watching tv isn’t doing me any good.

I did mix the strawberry and fresh milk but am going to wait until tomorrow to try it. I want to dig out another Merlin tank so I can do an even comparison. I’m just not sure which box or tub my merlins are in.

I always wondered what "no see 'ums" were. We have midges around here. And the wonderful Black Fly that loves to bite when it's going to rain. Those fly bites really hurt.

I've never been bothered by the midges or no-see-ums.
When I lived in VT, on the other hand the black flies were awful. Yes, the bites are not itchy like mosquito bites, but just painful.
The interesting thing about mosquitoes is that they tend to bite where you can see them doing it, though just slightly too late.
The interesting thing about black flies, in my experience, is that they only bite where you can't see them, like in the backs of your arms or legs or neck. Devious little girls. I'm assuming they're girls, just like the male mosquitoes don't bite us, just breed with their acquaintances , thinking the black flies are the same.

It's all so sad and so unreal. So many good people losing their livelihood, so much devastation because of one stupid bill that nobody probably even read or considered the unintended (or maybe intended) consequences. Shame.

I'm quite fed up with our "representatives." Not only should we have term limits, which clearly won't happen.
But, maybe we can have an author's name put on bills, so we know who exactly is responsible. Too much to ask, or is our democracy doomed?

I didn’t review the Grus. From what I hear the new Grus has the same chip as the Ursa. Unfortunately I bought two of the old ones. They went into storage when I got my first Ursa.

they are to make solo flavours to get acquainted with the various offerings out there from flavour companies and I am following established and highly rated clone recipes of juices I used to love that either discontinued or may be difficult to obtain with increasing regulations.

I try to do a SFT (solo) of of every flavor (but I don't have that many) 10 ml each. Then (after tasting them), I do quick combinations (recipes) Then, when I find a winner, I write an actual recipe. It's the "long way home" but I always know what each flavor is like before I even mix them.

I know you don't like sweet (or might make other suggestions) so I would keep it simple mango/wafer/ and some kind of cream (I use WF flapper pie in many recipes but you mentioned it's too sweet... I also like WF bavarian cream but don't have any "regular" creams... adding this to my wishlist)

Yes, midges are more harmless, but swarm and always seem to want to fly into my face
Those flies though, those things are evil. Very accurate observation about where they get you.

Correct: "Male black flies are not attracted to humans, and their mouthparts are not capable of biting."

Ugh: "When numerous enough, black flies have caused suffocation by crawling into the nose and throat of pastured animals."
