Morning, mixers.

Summer continues, although perhaps in its waning days. Only about 10 over normal today, heading to either second spring or first fall by the weekend, when we may have some rain.

Meantime, the watering detail continues. We did make Costco and a few other places a bit richer yesterday. (Then again, we've shifted from twice a month on the big shop to only once, so actually about the same, but, uh, all at once...)

If only....

Do you know how long of a steep it needs?
No idea. I’m going with a month because ..... I’m not sure exactly what it is, and if it’s not steeped at a month it never will be. I’m intrigued though.

I went through the blog, nothing in there cheesecake-wise for me... it was all fruit this, other stuff that. My preference is for a good, plain cheesecake..

10 days of silence sounds lovely.. good book time sounds like!
Which cheesecake do you think you used? There’s a cc trinity using Yes, We Cheesecake that’s pretty cheesy before it steeps. And, it’s a short steeper (bonus)

It had yes we cheesecake in it, it also used that popular graham cracker cheesecake flavoring for a crust (as opposed to graham cracker clear) can't remember the name offhand...

It also used a bavarian cream in it (I have a ton of the stuff and it's mainly for the cheesecake... lol)

What trinity are you thinking of...?

For this cheesecake I started somewhere (someone else's recipe) and then played with it (adding and adjusting) until it was right...

I find it relatively mellow. I'm also trying this right now:
Lemon meringue tart (Vt) 2.4%
Vienna Cream (FA) 1%
Lemon Squares (WF) 2%
Madagascar Vanilla (FA) 1%
Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 1%
Sour Lemon (VT) 0.6%
Vanilla Pudding (FLAV) 1%

I wanted to try the FA Vienna Cream and Madagascar Vanilla, this is a decent starting point.

Leave out the Sour Lemon and it should end up at the sweeter end of the spectrum.

Thank you very much...

I'll look into this new recipe as well, although I'm a bit fearful of some of those levels of lemon... lol. But, I may adjust slightly and see how it goes! Thank you so much!

I don’t know if I changed anything in this, but it’s AlfredPudding’s recipe/ELR.
