New Hampshire isn't exactly known for being a large state. I'd imagine it's probably pretty close by.
Last known to be in Concord which is our Capital and roughly 60 miles from here.

    omgeeee.

I just replaced 12 feet of soffet on the East side of the house.
Taking a break before I go replace the fascia.
    I'm sweaty soaked !

...and too old for this crap and my hands shake.
Grabbed a pair of hemostats our of my glass tools to hold the dang brads while hammering to secure panels before trying to drill and screw. Pinky fulcrum to stabilize hand. Sigh...

DH is useless at fix-it stuff and the estimate we got was $500.00 !!!!!!!
    SERIOUSLY ????
All you have to do is nail and screw the pieces back up !!! :grr:

I'll put the fascia back once the sun is gone from that side of the house.

Try to find a trim nail holder thing, you drop the trim nail in and there is a plunger you hammer, just keep a little tension on the plunger wiyh your pinky. Works great for soffet and window trim. If they still make them, mines about 45 years old.:)

    Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,

I need to buy a weight that measures milligrams, will be searching for one later today.
Soon time to get out to the wood splitting.
    would the lb 501 work?

I have made room under bed for the case. So now my only concern is sliding a heavy plastic case on a hardwood floor.
maybe hot glue some felt to the bottom?

Can someone explain this to me so it makes some kind of sense? My GD Meg has a son a little over a year old. The boy has Trisomy 18, has a trach, is fed thru a tube. Meg has been living with friends for years but recently she wants a place of her own. Nobody wants to rent to her because she has a small child? She tells them, (My son doesn't walk, talk or cry). She's looked at a lot of places but no one will call her back. She finally found one single apartment she can rent. It's not ideal but I think she's going to take it.
they can't deny her for that, unless they are like a senior only community....however with covid still in place they may just be backlogged and take a lot longer to return phone calls.
I had a recert with my apt in march, it's now may 1st and they still haven't processed it (which is good for me as that means I'm still paying the lower rent...because they are being buttheads and I can't claim my 2 kids as dependents apparently...my eldest will be 20 this year but she's still dependent on me, she's autistic and schizophrenic so she doesn't work and my youngest her dad (even though he's not supposed to) claimed her on his taxes because he got his done first...and apparently the apt has a new rule that you have to prove with your tax returns how many dependents you have (even though I still claimed my eldest but they don't accept it due to her age)
so yeah I hate to think what the rent will hike up to now [/rant]

The hemostats worked perfectly to hold it :)

I thought of the towel idea. If I don't like the way the protectors work next idea is the towel.

Suggestion: Small area / throw rug or a Carpet remnant from a carpet dealer (or Big Box Store - Home Depot - Lowes, etc) cut the same size . . . Just a thought . . . ;)
