Actually, I'm going to drop that to 1.5 % (solo) When I add it to my cheesecake/graham, I'l use less that 1 %
Definitely the opposite for me. I have no desire to vape Mascarpone solo but if I did it would definitely be under 1%. My cheesecakes get 1%.

Thank you so much. I can't believe all the assumptions made and disrespectful comments (I guess I will never live down my old "best flavors list") I have actually done 49 SFTs (all 10 ml)... 50 if you count LB sweetener (didn't add that because I found out it's just EM... not very useful and for me it just mutes other flavors)

I honestly don't think anyone was trying to be disrespectful, just voicing their opinion based on years of mixing experience and trying to figure out what this list was (coming from/based on). I had to learn fast and try to always keep in mind if you put it out there on any forum expect to get all kinds of comments. If this list works for you good on but expect thoughts to the contrary to be voiced too.

My last comment about my flavor % list. I've admitted my taste buds are off and I tend to mix solo very high. I do this because I want to really see what the flavor tastes like pushed high, and very often end up diluting them after the initial test. As usual, this is my fault for not explaining things better. I suggest (for many people) actually cutting my numbers in half. Wish I hadn't even posted it.

Looks like an old can of worms was opened.

How many times have experienced DIY'ers here corrected, or said something, in this very thread, addressing said persons questionable offerings? Many.

No learning or growth ever happens. Same old, same old gets repeated. Then cleanup. It's all here in the thread, look back. Those who know, know.

Would anyone here prefer a newb take questionable DIY advice from someone, then fail at DIY and end up thinking DIY totally sucks? No, I didn't think so.

I would love to see someone show up at the VU or ELR forums with said antics. They would not last 5 minutes. The experienced DIY'ers would have a field day slicing and dicing, especially with no filters in place. But yeah, we ain't them. Got it.

I'll shut up now and leave this fart to blow away in the wind.

    Movin' on...

    :)

    Somewhere between here and there
Yes... I do tend to mix solo flavors high (it's very easy for me to dilute them later because I keep unflavored base handy... very hard to increase % by adding drops) In no way would I use these % in a recipe (most likely I would use half as much or even less) Also, yes... my taste buds are not doing well (hate to admit it but I've slipped... smoking some again)

Mix those flavors as high as you need to if it gets you off the smokes again. When I started mixing I was commonly in the 20-25% flavor range on recipes. Just do whatever works for you.

I just can’t see anyone mixing Mascarpone at 2%. Not even sft,

I'm not afraid. I might mix a 5ml sample at 2% just to see what it's like. I have only ever used mascarpone in recipes. It never occurred to me to try it as a sft.

I found it you mix some single flavors at higher % it will really throw off the actual taste. I would get anywhere from soapy, playdough, putty, funk, woodsey, perfumey, floral, peppery, just yuck aftertaste... that just shouldn't be there. Admittedly I'm a novice mixer, mostly single, 3-4 flavor recipe, one shots, commercial eliquid I dilute but in my limited experience more isn't always better when it comes to flavors and even diluted doesn't make it taste better.

I’m usually good with 1% on the Mascarpone. I could probably go a bit more in cheesecakes. In other mixes I once mixed one with 1% and didn’t like it. The cheese was just too strong in that particular recipe. 2% is totally out for me.

BOY O BOY GLAD I CAN SAY THAT I AM COMPLETELY ABSOLUTELY ..........NORMAL !!!!!!!!!:img:
Me too. Except for when I am weird, then... all bets off.

I am blind in one ear and deaf in the other eye too (might have that backwards).

    giggles...fairly sure I've used mascarpone at 2% :lol::pervy:

but there again I do tend to use higher %s than most
with as bad as my sinus' are, there's a lot of times that I can't really taste things properly and my sense of smell is really really hit and miss, more like it only really works maybe 5% of the time. Which really sucks when you have asthma because you can't smell the asthma triggers (ie my idiot neighbors smoking in the hallway) until it's too late and you still don't really smell it but you're in full blown asthma attack because you couldn't smell the triggers before hand and able to get to your inhaler in time.

Something I should point out.. when I say drops I'm talking 1 drop per 30ml usually, sometimes I'll do 1 every 15 but that's more rare.

But that's what I mean by a couple drops, because I mix 60ml at a time.. 1 drop every 30ml is a couple..

Lol, so okay thought I'd explain

I’m getting excited about getting this case again. Probably a mistake cause I don’t have it in hand yet. It will give me back some drawer space which I really need. Crossing fingers.
If you don't like the toothpaste, bacon or flavors lemme know. Maybe we can arrange a trade. ;)

I'm always on the lookout for new toothpaste flavors. Also some bacon, cuz someone, not sayin' who, always seems to have dibs on it. :D

Don’t blame you. It’s helpful if you can find a mixer with similar tastes. I like some recipes by @uthinkofsomething. The detailed information from @ShowMeTwice is helpful also. There are others also.

A couple of weeks ago I copied down several posts from @ShowMeTwice on mixing with Caramel. I was trying to mix some caramel and not making much progress so that helped a lot. Got an order in for some of the stuff SMT suggested.
