Random DIY mixing and More

OK, so I plan on mixing a 10ml of SSA Vanilla Ice Cream and SSA Ice Cream combo tonight. I know there has been some back an forth on the %. I recall something about 1.5% each being recommended, but am open to suggestions.

That is why I always by 10ml bottles the first time. Because you never know if you are going to like a flavor until you actually try it.

I agree with @FranC I do the same with flavours I've never tried or don't come from other recipes with rave reviews.

I do everything, yeast breads, quick breads, desserts, cheesecakes, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, eclairs, cream puffs etc etc. there's little I don't do...meats, dinners and more. I just do everything.

Around here when I was cooking for my husbands work they fell in love with my breads the most... probably because no one makes homemade yeast breads these days, so my dinner rolls became a standing order at every pot luck.

I kind of fell into that accidentally because my husband hadn't known that he was in charge of his teams pot luck until it was too late to put a sign-up sheet out, so I ended up cooking the entire dinner for two full teams, and because of the money crunch of that expense, I did as much from scratch as possible... and one of those things was 7 dozen homemade dinner rolls

So while the entire dinner with included desserts was a hit, it seemed the yeasted dinner rolls was the star... so for years I had to make (per unanimous request) 7-8 dozen homemade dinner rolls for every potluck they had, on top of the meats (which was my husbands responsibility as manager) and always (1) dessert.

I prefer homemade breads to store bought... they really are heavenly. Nothing beats warm from the oven pita with homemade hummus, or just a piece of fresh bread with butter... I used to make even our hamburger buns... which my husband thinks are to die for.. lol.

I haven't been able to do any baking for about two years now, but am hoping to heal up enough to get back to it by next year... if not by Christmastime...

I agree... heavenly and you know what they say...if you're selling your house, bake some bread when the buyers come for a look

Yup. There's such an enormous diff between eating and inhaling. Cinnamon vapes and most but not all citrus vapes really are irritating. But I love eating those flavors.

I have the same problem....beryl(raspberry) FA really irritates until it settles down which is annoying as it's one of the best raspberries out there.

You missed the flavor buying extravaganza as of late. Everyone bought SSA ice cream and SSA ice cream vanilla at the same time and they are trying to do an ice cream base with those two...

Those rushing to mix are our guinea pigs, and they are all trying to determine through some trial and error what the percentages should be with just those two flavors as a base.

I'm waiting it out over in the corner until they reach a flavor consensus of some kind, then I'll start there..

So far, it's looking like we are going with 3 and 2 respectively, since it's a bit light and very easily overtaken by any fruits or cones added to the mix.

But of course, that can easily change slightly at next mixing..

Pretty renowned mixer for the 123Vic so thought I'd share it but maybe it's already been up?

I mixed that one yesterday as well. I also ended up going with another mix of 2% SSA Vanilla Ice Cream and 1.5% SSA Ice Cream. I'll give them a week or so to steep and give them other a shot.

BTW, have you tried the 1-2-3 VIC? I can't recall if anyone here has actually tested it or not.

Yummy. I honestly rarely eat bread, but it's mostly because I really don't bake. And I never really have a desire to buy store bought bread.

Boy, I am exhausted! Trying to keep up with my daughter and my sister at a flea market, impossible! Then a giant antique store, double impossible! I'm just too old and fat. When we got home and I was trying to catch up on all the posts, I fell asleep. This is why I'm posting so late. The main thing is my daughter had fun, so I'm happy.

I don't know if I am a pepper taster or not. I don't think I've ever tasted pepper in any of my mixes. But I do have a lot of IDIO-T mixes saved to mix. I've already tried the Cranberry Sprite and really liked it. I also plan on mixing up Longing and Mango Blossom Macaroon soon.

Morning Fran. I will probably just be lazy around the house today. I plan on doing a little mixing. I also plan on actually trying my Pulse V2 today. I coiled and wicked the Galaxies RDTA a week ago, but then I had to go out of town so never actually got a chance to vape on it.

Sounds like you have some nice easy stuff going for the day. I have no plans at this moment. I'm kinda anxious to try my newest ice cream mix which is a Blackberry ice cream.

I don't know if I am a pepper taster or not. I don't think I've ever tasted pepper in any of my mixes. But I do have a lot of IDIO-T mixes saved to mix. I've already tried the Cranberry Sprite and really liked it. I also plan on mixing up Longing and Mango Blossom Macaroon soon.

I hope I like it. Both the Macaron and Longing looked good enough to make me want to buy all the flavors I was missing.
