The trip was good, but today was a mess. Our cat started panting in the middle of the night. By the time the vet opened this morning, she was not doing well. Congestive heart failure. Sweet Catdog has crossed the rainbow bridge
I’m only 18 pages behind this trip! I’ll be caught up by tomorrow. @Zazie , my River order came while I was gone…..Instead of a lemon and a lime, I got two limes! At least they’re consistent in what two they mix up lol. I’ll be skimming through, but did I miss any recipes I need?

Can;t add much to what's been said, never a good time. I think we lose track of their prior 8 sometimes.

We never knew how old she really was, or how many of those 9 lives she’d used up, since she was a “certified, used cat” (her first human had passed away). We only had her three years, but she had nestled right into our hearts.

I don't know why but cantaloupe donut got me thinking about trying something different... watermelon and butter mint ice cream (don't have cantaloupe or honeydew but do have Wayne's one shot "water malone", PUR butter mint and SSA ice cream) I had a pre-made honeydew and really liked it with butter mint.
@NolaMel - I'm so sorry about CatDog. It never gets any easier losing a furbaby or other animal family member. I personally believe they should all live as long as their humans do, because it's so hard when they leave us.
CHF symptoms in cats especially, are frequently not shown until it's unfortunately too late to do anything to save them. I'm glad you were there with her though.

Good morning. Looking to be hot and humid day with no breeze on the lake, fortunately and unfortunately we're not getting too much fish (is there such thing as too much? I'd welcome a 10000 lb lift, sweat and all).. so not on the lake and in the sun for long.

The lake? I guess for some reason I thought you did your fishing in the ocean. I didn't even know a lake could have 10,000lbs of fish.
