I listen to rap when I run on the treadmill. It’s got a good beat to run to. I have a lot of Eminem on the playlist.
I never liked the content or the message - was always disgusting.
there's a good rapper out now though... does some good stuff. It's what rap was supposed to be - counter-culture - but not in the killing and raping category..
It might be a bit unfair to say rap content was always disgusting. Rap music subject matter can be a varied as any other music genre.
Now rap was never my favorite genre of music, but there are some rap artists who always impressed me with their storytelling and lyrical abilities.

Today's plans seem to be to watch the lake rise. Well, the wetlands adjoining our place, anyway. Silly weather guessers now want to cal it an "atmospheric river" when we've known it for years as the Pineapple Express... so we in the South Sound will see the bulk of it, only 1/2' overnight, two or three times that still on the way.
Cats will not be happy.

I did maintenance work in group homes for a while. There was a kid in one place who was a big rap fan. He had one of those little music players and it was all rap. Eminem was his favorite. He was always messing with it, rearranging the songs, deleting stuff and adding new stuff, but he regularly messed up and deleted everything. Plus he would sell his player at school then buy another one from someone else. At one point I took his player home and downloaded everything to my computer, then when he lost his music I would take his player home and reload everything. Sometimes I had a bit of fun with him and slipped in some Beach Boys or Dusty Springfield or whatever in the middle of a rap album.
Now I have a huge folder of rap on my computer. I deleted a few artists who do the hateful angry stuff but I play it when I’m in the mood.

My next batch tho I will start it with 1/2% Cookie just to see if the Cappuccino comes through more on the shake-n-vape. If not then I'll just add the other 1/2 in. I really want the Cappuccino and the Cookie a little more equal on flavor.
Last week I decided to up my recipe game. I dug out 6 Lemo Drops and 6 Picos. So far I have 4 of them set up with different versions of my new caramel mix so I can compare them. It's a lot better test of a new recipe than how I did before.
I tried multiple different caramel flavors. The one that stood out for me was TFA Caramel Original. Guess it's the Acetoin.
In one version I used a new vanilla flavor. TFA Vanilla Deluxe. It's very strong and completely overwhelmed the other flavors in the mix. It's great flavor though. Definitely going to figure out some way of using it. When I was buying premixed juice I had a really good vanilla, I never managed to mix one that worked for me. Maybe the Deluxe will do the job.

Lost both of mine in the last four years. The world changes for you when you are no longer a daughter/son to anyone.My parents are 78 and 84 respectively and I don't know what I'll do when it happens...the ability to reach out for advice and the unconditional love can't ever be replaced....hope it gets better with time

It's not ready yet, I figured out the ingredients but still working on %'s. I'll definitely post it.

Those guys are awesome. I also really liked NWA, Ice Cube's solo stuff, and Warren G. But I would have to say my favorite rap artists are probably Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and A Tribe Called Quest.
