I don't do alcohol flavors at all.. so it wouldn't have been that one.
I don't like alcohol flavors as a main note but they do work magic as an accent.

A small amount of FA Gin will make light fruit flavors bright and summery, it adds sparkle to darker fruits and berries and enhances all the citrus flavors.

Adding a little FA Jamaican Rum to dark fruits and berries makes them taste warm and oven baked.

I much agree on the gin but I find the Rum too sweet. Bourbon works also.

went to Walmart last night looking for meats, but the meat department had been raided. They had some steak, but the only one I felt usable was over 20 dollars..

has anyone priced steak recently? that's ridiculous!

At any rate without thinking it through I picked up some center cut pork chops... so I'm sitting here going through a dinner menu in my mind and I'm thinking well homemade dinner rolls are too much work so homemade biscuits it is, etc.

All these little trades are turning what should be a nice meal into an average any day of the week dinner... haha

I guess it could be worse at least I'm cooking!

Happy Father's Day to all you men out there ..

If you don’t use it. I don’t know exactly why but like that old mod.
Absolutely, Hitt. Im glad it’ll see some use instead of languishing in a tote. I’m retired, so no need for a work mod anymore. It’s a nice size, and not too heavy, a good fit for taking to work. I’ll mail it out tomorrow.

I'm doing a tossed salad and some cornbread stuffing as sides..

(although I'm starting to waffle on the stuffing... it's starting to seem too bready writing it all out... maybe stuffed mushroom caps instead)

I'm really enjoying my new mix.

    caramel-apple-crumb-cake-2.jpg

    Caramel Apple Crumble Cake

    FW White Cake 3%
    WF Crumble Topping 0.75%
    VT Vanilla Cream 1.5%
    FA Milk 1%
    VT Green Apple 2.5%
    FW Green Apple 2%
    SC Lemon 0.5%
    FW Candy Caramel 0.75%

The cake portion (top 4 flavors) makes a nice moist cake base. VT and FW green apples together add a very realistic, and tasty, tart green apple. SC Lemon is there to brighten up the mix. There is just enough caramel to leave you wanting more.

It's a light cake and a bright mix. There is a good balance between a lower sweetness and the no-so-sweet.

The apples, lemon and caramel can be removed leaving you with a nice cake base that you could choose your own fruits etc.. :)

Busy vape morning. Before I mixed my ABC I had to pull out my second to last bottle of nic from the freezer that I bought in 2014. I transferred it to my squeeze bottle. I don’t think I will ever run out of nic based on how long that order has lasted me.

It had a little pinkish amber color but I left it unfrozen for a year in my basement before I froze it. It’s still very good nic and tastes and smells clean.

I made 200 ml of ABC. Then I pulled apart my Zeus x mesh and cleaned all the parts and pieces. Dry burned the mesh and rewicked. I’ve tried a lot of cotton but I absolutely love the “13 feets” cotton from amazon. It’s now my fav.

I loaded up the Watered Melons. Normally fruit vapes are “thin” to me but this one is quite tasty and produces great vapor. It’s a nice change of pace for me. And I’ve never used honeydew or dragonfruit so this is different. I really like it. Very summery.
Its funny how so many of us independently end up using the same stuff without realizing someone else is thinking along the same lines and arriving at the same results unknowingly.

I just received my first order of the '13' feets cotton from Amazon yesterday. Amazon had put it up as a recommendation based on the items I was looking at. And I have been using the Zeus x mesh rta's exclusively for about 4 months. So easy to wick, it takes almost no effort at all. Plus great flavor and lasts a long time between changing/cleanings.

    :)

Well I mixed up about 300ml of juice last night.
I mixed @ShowMeTwice recipe of Apricot, pear and kiwi. Letting it sit a day or two. I didn't mix Red's recipe because I already have a strawberry/mango juice that I enjoy.
Also mixed up what I thought was more 'skittles'. Turns out it isn't. FW has a flavoring called Skits Candy which I mistakenly thought was the same as the original 'Skittles' that I had bought from them before. This is a true candy and my first hint on tasting told the whole tale.....it is SWEET. Went back to BCF to look at how I made my mistake and it turns out the new name for the old skittles is 'Rainbow Candy'. Except this one is more towards the sour side and not nearly as sweet. Bummer. Looks like another BCF order is closer than I had planned. Also mixed up some more OSDIY Sweet Southern Tea and some of @classwife's Sweet Rice recipe except I cut the % down a notch. I really need to go through my bag of mixed juice and throw out what I don't use or like. Seems like a good time.

    :)

Makes sense to me, David :) I will use what I like.

I try to keep my three or four favorites in rotation but keep trying this or that and end up dumping a lot.

I’m not sure where this recipe came from but it’s all Molinberry. Nice and lemony and so far not overly sweet. @Zazie

    Cookie Bites
    Cookie Bite 4%
    Creamy Vanilla 2.5%
    Lemon Tart 5.5%

I have the cookie bites but don’t think I have the other two.

I wish I could latch onto some of that motivation you have and get something done today. We got a couple of short hard rains this morning that weren’t in the forecast and noticed that the downspout nearest the front door must be plugged where it does a sharp bend at the bottom. We had a ton of seedlings from our maple tree this year and I did clean that lower gutter but it must have clogged at the bottom. I’ll at least clean that out today. The tree trimmers were supposed to come last week to trim two trees and clean the high gutters but didn’t make it yet. I’m not surprised with the heatwave we had. Maybe next week.

It’s not just steak. Hamburger is getting pretty high too if you want a low fat percentage.
