You may have heard about that horrific wreck in Alabama Saturday that killed 9 little kids and one man. So sad. I think it was from water on the road and hydroplaning. 17 vehicle crash including two 18 wheelers and 7 of them burned, including the van carrying eight of the children.

I was driving home this evening and it was pouring rain. For the first time in my life all three lanes on the interstate were going no more than 35 mph. Everybody slowed down today. There are always the crazies speeding in a torrential downpour but not today.

Mom said the rain was something there today. The Saturday wreck was horrific and so sad. The article on Al.com Sunday was heartbreaking. I’m glad everyone slowed down today, at least. Himself finally got out after an hour. The ground is still wet from the tropical storm over the weekend, so lots of “ponding” on the streets as the weather peeps call it. More like laking or oceaning lol… too deep for the pickup.

I hope there’s a pack left Friday when I get paid. I have other stuff I need anyway, but I’d like some of the new flavors too

I wish it were here. We're very close to drought conditions.
