Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
Good morning Fran & folks,
not the big plans in southern Norway, I will paint a little though.
Got something back on the tax, considering whether I should buy ingredients from a Norwegian store, they have a 70% offer on some ingredients from WF, we will see during the day what happens.

What are your plans for the day, Fran?

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

no plans... just spent the last two hours trying to get my husband awake and out of bed, now I'm feeling a bit frustrated overall... we have to get up at 2am in the morning if we are going to make my doctor's appointment on time (it's a 6 hour drive, one way) - which totally sucks.

So basically I'm frustrated with a 60 y/o teenager (but, but, but; "I dont wanna go to school today mom!") and disliking my doctor today, might try for something less depressive to lift my spirits - but I haven't a clue what that might be.

haha

Good morning. I really need to mow today if the rain stays away long enough. I wouldn’t be very popular with the neighbors if I mowed at 6:30.

I put the two mixes I did last night in my steep box and it’s about full. I need to use up some stuff. With receiving my chef’s order that’s three orders that need put away and added to my list. My cabinet has gotten quite messy.

Morning Hitt. There is a guy in my neighborhood who always starts mowing his yard around 9 to 10 at night. I'm not sure that it bothers anyone, but I just think that's freaking weird. I'm not sure how he even sees well enough to mow in the dark.

    Morning, all.

Our plan will be to sit motionless in front of the AC.... good thing we have cats to give us tips on that!

Couple days back the weather guessers were speculating on how we might have 3 consecutive days 90 or over. That's happened three times since they started keeping records, but never in June. Uh, now the chatter is 3 consecutive days of 100 or more, which is a big NEVER in the records... A first we'd all rather avoid!

Uh, Red, if the neighbor uses a ride-em, it likely has headlights ;)

I wonder if this is the reason for the weather....

Plans were early morning grocery shopping which we did. Had all groceries put away by 8:30 am. After that, I sat out on the back deck with an ecig, under the table umbrella. After over an hour of that, it got too dang hot and I came in. So here I am :)

    Good morning Randomers

Off to the beach today....going to try and make myself go for a swim. Sea temp is 23°C so a bit colder than I like it...brrrrh

Tried @FranC 's ice cream base and the Mango Lassi. Love the Mango Lassi and the Ice Cream but think the ice cream needs a bit more steeping.... obviously a fruit or two would bring some sweetness to the base too....tips @FranC ? :)

I need to test it in a Dvarw...it's currently in a Boxx with a 0.6 2s Nautilus coil which definitely alters the flavour profiles of my other mixxes....

Might see you all later when you're up
    I wouldn't think 75 F was cold.

I can start as late as around 7 at night if it’s a really hot day and still finish before dark but at 9 I wouldn’t be able to see. Does your neighbor have night vision goggles?

Good morning :) plans are to recover from my 2nd vaccine dose yesterday. It hit me like a mack truck, and it was not a pleasant night and morning. Aleve this morning seems to have helped.

Hope you feel better today. I was down about 1.5 days when I got the second one.

I don't think he has night vision goggles. I'm pretty sure he's just an idiot.

I figure I’ll give the neighbors another 20 minutes to sleep in then start mowing at 10. Chances of rain again today.

I made waffles for when my daughters and one boyfriend that drove here for her show last night wake up.

It is for water, not for air. ;)

You won't likely die in 75 degree water (you'll get out of the pool!), but it will suck the heat out of your body pretty fast. Air won't. If you were in the deep end of a 75 degree pool for 2 or 3 hours you'd pass out from hypothermia (or exhaustion).

Upper 70's to 84 is good for swimming, 75 is OK (Lake MI often gets around there in the summers) and such, but it feels cold to start out. Anything over 85 is like bath water IMO, too warm to swim for me if you're trying to cool off but many adults and kids in swim class swim in the upper 80's! But I'm a Northerner with thick skin. Even then, back when we swam in the summer we'd like it when the pool was 81 to 83.

    :)

As a child I swam in running brook water which is freezing cold here.

Yeah, lake Michigan is often no picnic either until the end of summer. I've frozen my .... off. But we had fun. ;)

It's all about time and temp and activity. If your body temp goes below 95...not good.
