    Somewhere between here and there
She's too undecided. It could end up being a big mistake to pay for the more expensive degree. With the RN she can get a job and support herself. If she decides after that she wants the expensive degree she'll be able to save for it.

I agree and that's the direction I'm going to try to steer her.

If she were to get a job now at a hospital most will pay a % (up to 100% depending on what they offer) for nursing school with the requirement that the nurse graduate work for a certain number of years for that organization. In the hospital I worked for, they also will pay for a nursing undergraduate degree such as an ADN or BSN in nursing too.

ETA To me it's a no brainer, your education is paid for, guaranteed employment , an income, plus she gets used to working in a hospital environment.

I will definitely mention that to her. I think the RN is the way to go for now and like you said, let the hospital pay for the BSN.

That's the plan anyway. Her first year at Wichita was cut short by the pandemic and she had to finish the semester online which didn't go well. Then the second year was all online besides a couple times she had to go on campus. She decided she didn't like that college any more even though she had already been accepted to the third year nursing program. So now she's going to Fort Scott for their nursing program but she would end up wit an RN instead of a BSN but the tuition is a lot cheaper. We found out that Fort Scott has a program with KU where she could still get her BSN but the tuition is about three times as expensive. Right now she's not sure what she wants to do but doesn't have to decide until December. I think she should go for the RN since I know it will be easier and if she wants to go back for the BSN then she can do that later.

BTW: If i remember correctly, there are many institutions that will help pay for a RN that works for them after a year to continue their college/advanced education . . . Just a thought . . .

I'd let the hospital pay for her RN too :) she could go and talk to the hospital system she is interested in, or even a few different ones, on what they have to offer and how to go about things. As an aside graduate nurses that worked at a hospital before getting their degree had a much easier time of it. It's a whole different world than classes and clinicals.

Good morning in here! I need to mix tonight but have a lot of stuff to do. I obtained a reply from my liver doctor. She has no clue on when the clinic is offering a third shot for me. LOL and she doesn't know about a covid titer. I'm somewhat disappointed in her lack of knowledge but it is what it is. She told me she would contact me when she gathered info. I won't count on it. She did recommend me getting it though.

At the rehab I work for the new Delta variant is spreading. I'm hoping not to catch it but Sunday night had to send a older guy out because his 02 stats went down to 86% at room air. Right now its not the greatest time to be a nurse. However, it would be worse for me working in a hospital. The visitors are bringing it in at the rehab. They are not following the rules as usual. Self centered type people.

Well, my blackberry mix is on hold. I don't know why I was so sure I had TFA Blackberry but I can't find it and it's not on my lists. I really don't want to sub. Gotta think about it.
Better just switch it to blueberry then.

Just ordered me some 26 gauge kanthal. Always was my fav and I'm out. I've never got into fancy coils of any kind.
I mostly use the pre-built Vandy Vape MTL coils because I am lazy. That, and I still suck and making coils.

My Sensis has disappeared. I went to bed with 4 setups and woke up with 3. I fear it has fallen in the space between the mattress and the headboard then rolled under the bed. I've lost other things that way. There's no getting to it without taking the bed apart. I got an 18650 battery under there too.

ETA Nevermind. I found it. It was right beside the bed. Why I couldn't see it before is beyond me. Maybe a combination of my bad eyes and the fact that it's the same color as the carpet.
