When I was a senior in high school and went to dances I had trouble. Kept playing "air guitar" instead of dancing (I actually was a guitar player) but did well with the slow dances (scored a few girls that way)

The first one... "shorty" is similar to what I was going to suggest (I do a similar recipe with raspberry)
Same here but sub the numbers 100's and 90's. At least it's not very humid (that destroys me) and the smoke isn't bad.
I prefer using custards more as a mid to back note flavor. Never liked in your face custard mixes. When I feature it the custard has to be on the lighter side.
@NolaMel turned me on to a couple of the best custard mixes I've ever had. They're from a local guy, Dean, in New Orleans. He had a store and online business called Coil Vapes (closed earlier this year
, deeming). Mel's known him going back to around 2010.His Dis Won features custard as the main note. It's awesome. Not heavy on the custard. I know he used CAP Vanilla Custard v1 in that, you can taste it. But he also has something else going on in that one too. Mel thinks a cookie and I agree.
His Nectarcus is one that I've been working on cloning for Mel (and me too). It's a strawberry custard with some other flavors going on that I haven't been able to figure out yet. I'm planning on adding some Nectarcus to a 5ml btl and then adding some pg/vg to dilute and mute the main flavor. Per other DIY folks that can help to reveal other flavors in a mix.
I still have a big bottle of each that I drip from time to time as a treat.

I have some Lemo 2's. I remember when it came out some called it a Kayfun killer, ummm nope.
Never had any wicking problems or leaking with my Lemo's. Rayon or cotton. 50/50 juices or thicker. Wicking is just like a KFL, easy peazy.
In fact the Lemo build deck is a nearly an exact copy of the KFL deck.

Yes... very simple. The small screws can be a pain but wicking is very straightforward. I was just out of practice. I have two more (new) I'm saving. Now it's time to move on to RDAs (the only one I used was just for doing SFTs mostly... came with the Aspire "quad flex" kit) I like the dual coil "genesis" style deck. I have a nice single coil one I can't pronounce the name (Chulhu Mjoinir ?) I wasn't into "dripping" because all I did was MTL but now expanding into RDL. I also have some RBAs to play with. I got lazy and just using "drop-in coils" but ready to get back into the game. I have wire and lots of cotton and rayon.
So I checked out the air guitar stuff... not for me (I actually play guitar and I was hoping they did a better job "faking it") I get it and see why it has appeal (it's more about the jumping around and other stuff) At least it's not "air singing"... that would just be strange. Or maybe "air weight lifting" with no weights

Oh... one last thing. I found most custards too much but have found I really like bavarian cream (which is really just a light custard) I don't hear it mentioned much... I suspect people think of it more like a donut filling (which here in the US is more like pudding) Am I mistaken? I also find it is nice to add to ice cream to make it richer. I got burned out on strong custards because of Vapetasia Killer Kustard (which is ironic... my first experience with DIY was I ordered a bunch of fruit flavors to add to KK which was fun but then realized I needed to jump in and learn how to really mix stuff)

Bavarian creams are, creams. BC is not custard as in the custards known in DIY or in real life.
"Bavarian cream is also known as creme Bavarois is a dessert made with eggs and milk, then thickened with gelatin and lightened up with whipped cream. Bavarian cream is not the same as custard. It is a lightened up custard cream."
Big difference in taste between a BC and a custard.

Yes... a "light custard". I'm not disagreeing, but that was my point. Besides, I've looked up many custard and bavarian cream recipes (real life) and they are similar. Oh well... it works for me anyway.
However... I would be very interested in a good light custard DIY flavor. Thank you for the input.
Echoes is still my all time favourite...you can hear the sound of the wish you were here coming into its own. The beginning of shine on you crazy diamond still sends shivers up my back every time though
But very similar on the recipe front for an English custard. A bit more like an unfrozen eggy ice cream
